Jamie's saying stuff like, "They say that they contacted Jim Harbaugh... But they couldn't have, because I know Jim Harbaugh, and if they would have contacted Jim, he would have taken the job... I don't really know that, but I feel that..."  Just internally inconsistent, emotional, nonsense.

Jim wanted to go pro. Period. I think Jim and DB had been talking but when Jim's stock went through the roof with the end of the season and the Orange Bowl win, he got NFL stars in his eyes. He's a super competitive guy, and while bringing Michigan back to national prominence would be a big deal, going up against arch-rival Pete Carroll in the NFL felt like a bigger deal to him. He had the opportunity to stay in the bay area. The money was right. The planets aligned, not in Michigan's favor. I used to like Jamie Morris, but this is just drivel.

The stories of JH's carousing are legend, but I'm not aware he has any baby mommas. Harbaugh has three kids with his ex-wife, one of whom is an adult and on the staff at Oregon State. He just had his second child with his current wife, to whom he was married before she got pregnant.

"He can coach two teams, give me a break."

This is funny, friend!

It was not just misuse of the loaner cars. When he was confronted by his superiors, Morris lied to them flat out then attempted to get some big time donors to cover his ass. What Morris has to say about DB is completely personal.

...Bacon says he was never offered the job (Martin and Miles never met). Morris: There was a communique from Martin to the LSU AD requesting a meeting, but the meeting never took place.

Regarding the purported Miles/LC imbroglio: can't prove a negative, but don't believe everything you hear. That said, it's clear that LC would not be in favor of a Miles hire, and that would be an obstacle.

It dosent surprise me that Morris has strong words for Brandon.  I am not defending the "process" and now the search, but Jamie Morris isnt really an unbiased source.

I still don't get why these callers think a. Carr still is calling the shots, b. DB never contacted Harbaugh.   And why does it sound like each caller is on the highway driving an F150?  (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

EDIT: Are they really playing a Jay-Z song right now?

No kidding. It is obvious it was not Lloyd's choice to resign from his cushy assistant AD position. DB saw a conflict of interest with Lloyd's position and eliminated it. Sure Lloyd is able to give his opinion, but at this point it means just as much as Desmond's or Braylon's. DB will do his homework and decide for himself.

says we should contact Nick Saban.  "No, wait, listen..."  Jamie suggested he'd added something to his coffee.

EDIT:  Did it really take me 4 mins to type this?

Here reading through the threads.......you guys are a mess.   At every level.

I think there is a large group of posters on here who might want to shut off their computer,  step away from all media and just take a break.  Because some of you are seeming mentally unstable.

Jamie Morris adds no value to this conversation thus far.  Just a distraction.  I'm less interested when he talks, than when Bacon does.  Come on Bacon, take this conversation over.... WHOA is that Angelique?  I totally have a crush on any woman who knows more about Michigan Football than I do.

Sorry, posting my stream of consciousness.

...now on the air. Can't remember the name of her last book.

Says she doesn't think this will come before mid-week.

Direct comms between Brandon and Jim/Bo? She can't confirm, but thinks there were. Bottom line, Harbaugh driven by desire to go to the NFL. Preserving his legacy of one of the greatest Michigan QBs of all time. Would be inheriting a team not set for success like his Stanford team. She never thought he'd be back in A2.

Wow, Morris is a complete moron. Between Morris and some of these callers (one guy actually said we should go after Saban) I'm losing my patience and more imporantly, my faith that Michigan fans have a true sense of reality regarding our program. If it weren't for Bacon I'd go back to sleep.
