serioulsy....? where to even start... edit: harris benched for playing bad “I didn’t think he was playing well, didn’t think he looked fresh, wasn’t himself so we decided to go another direction,” Beilein said. per freep.com strange time to bench him, esp because he played all but 2 minutes of regulation. i know he played bad but he played bad in northwestern too and then really blowed up in ot? this seems really strange to me, esp given the gravity of the situation....

Where to even start? Stop the fucking crying. I guarentee you that at the beginning of the year you weren't even watching M basketball. In fact, half of you are probably bandwagon fans. The only reason you are watching is that it is getting more attention. So order your M basketball shirts, and talk about it at work. The point is, I've been watching M basketball for over 15 years. We haven't had good teams for obvious reasons. The refs have always sucked, it's not anything new. Stop your bitching. We shouldn't make the tournament, and we won't. We are the USC of basketball this year. We play well in big games but the little ones count just as much. So we shoulnt be in the tournament like they shouldn't be in the National Championship Game.

I posted a response to this in the other thread too, but: Holy shit, you're more annoying than other people whining. At least they bring up points people care about. That said, I agree that we probably don't quite deserve to make the tournament this year. That doesn't mean that I don't want us to. And it doesn't mean I won't be angry at things that help opponents beat us, including bad officiating. You sound like you want people to not give a damn about the sport and just accept whatever happens to the team you care about without any emotion. Where is the fun in that?

This is exactly what I mean. You're satisfied with what we have, I'm excited but always hoping for more. And I meant that the way you phrased your post was really annoying. Honestly, I don't care if you've been a fan of M for 1 year or 100 years (well, I actually would if it was 100 years, that'd be incredible, but you get my point).

I'd like to add my rant then. You sir are a gigantic shithead douchebag. Don't tell me or anyone else here whether they are or are not a bandwagon fan. Fuck you, and if you were in the room with my I'd follow Mr. Cook's example and throw a bottle at you. Just thought that needed to be heard.

who the fuck is chimachonga? 15 years? whoa, congrats big guy. its funny i hoped on the bandwagon right at the start of overtime where i watched mich get the shit kicked out of them while manny was on the bench. so that means you have exactly 14 years 364 days 23 hours and 55 more minutes of being a fan then me. you prick.

Fish taco or whatever wrote: "And to call me annoying is harsh." Oh, really? You stereotype everyone's valid concerns about the game as "crying," but those who object are being "harsh?" BAWWWWWWWWW, HAW HAW HAW HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Taco, you need to understand that you are not the only poster here, that everyone else's opinion is just as important as yours, and that trying to bully others into agreeing with you by using inflammatory statements NEVER, EVER WORKS. So, uh, stop harshing my mellow, dude.

I was one of the first posts, so therefore how can I actually stereo everyone? Second, You are propobly right, I should have kept most of that in my head. Third, I did read other posters opinions, and I disagree, so what do you do when you disagree? You debate on it man. Which is what is going on. I did not bully anyone. I don't even understand how you could get that notion. But whatever. Fourth, is "BAWWWWWWWWW, HAW HAW HAW HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" how you actually cry. Edit: to the post underneath, you are right about that I don't know who watched or didn't, but I know at the beginning people were saying they didn't on earlier posts.

Stop trying to cover your tracks. This "you're right, but..." bullshit isn't fooling anyone. In general, people who post on this board do not take kindly to having their fanhood questioned. If you honestly think that ranting at someone for not being a fan at the beginning of the season and telling him to "stop the fucking crying" is not annoying, then you sir, are delusional. That's not harsh, that's honest.

How can you "guarantee" that anyone here "wasn't even watching basketball" at the beginning of the season? You don't know who watched basketball and who didn't, though you can at least guess that if someone was commenting on basketball at that time, they were probably paying attention to the games. I usually try to be nice to everyone, but can you see that when someone who doesn't know me from Adam presumes to "know" whether I was watching basketball at the beginning of the season or not, I might become a tad perplexed or mildly irritated at their arrogance? With your post, you presumed to know more than people you don't know, "guaranteed" that they weren't doing something they may or may not have been doing, dismissed the heartfelt complaints of YOUR FELLOW UM FANS as "crying," and and gave the appearance of trying to bully those who don't agree with your view into silence. Can you see where this may make you come off as arrogant and rude? Or, as one poster so succinctly put it, "annoying?" I'm sure you mean well, but could you please give other fans credit for possessing the same intellect, judgement, and right to state their opinion that you possess next time? I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Since I didn't watch the game, I didn't realize until I took a closer look at the player participation figures late last night that Grady didn't see the floor. This is just crazy. I understand that his defense isn't stellar, but after his performance against Minnesota it simply makes no sense whatsoever that he doesn't get a single minute. It's not like Iowa was loaded with offensive threats. It's especially strange given Beilein's statement that he benched Manny because he wasn't playing well. Ok, why doesn't that apply to Lee? He goes 0 for 8, and the guy he's guarding goes off for 23, and that gets a pass from Beilein? I don't get it. Trey Vogler must be real impressed.
