Some folks would rather slit their wrists than say anything nice about Patterson. . . 

He hits DPJ with a perfect pass for a TD, and some clown says it was a terrible throw!

As a general rule, if your thread title has sarcasm in it, offers no actual information or prompt for discussion, shits on a former player, shits on the fanbase as a whole, it's probably not gonna be well received

Just say: "Shea Patterson played an excellent game" and then list some statistics

That throw and that catch is about as pretty a play as you will see. It kinda/sorta reminded me of the game-winning throw and catch at Michigan State in 2007 (Henne to Manningham), but I'd argue that the catch here was quite a bit more impressive!
