I saw in the photo gallery Barwis was spoting on the bench. Someone please get the Youtube up on that one... it has to be awesome with people clapping and Barwis going nuts as Big Will is working past 40.

Defensive tackle Will Johnson turned in the day’s most-impressive performance, wowing the scouts and onlookers with an eye-popping and record-setting 47 reps of 225 pounds. The effort eclipsed anything that has been previously achieved by a Wolverine and broke what was believed to be the NFL Combine record, 42 reps set by former U-M left tackle Jake Long last season. Johnson also clocked 4.9 second in the 40-yard dash.
"It was exciting, but my goal was to put up 50 reps," said Johnson. "I’m really pleased with what I was able to accomplish, though."
It looks like Mart Hart and Lloyd Carr made an appearance...
Carson Butler ran a 4.5 forty. I have to think that some NFL team is going to give him a chance. I don't know that he'll get drafted, but some team will sign him as a UFA, I imagine.
Man what a waste in talent that guy was.
totally a fake. What happened was he ran a 4.8 then went over to the time keeper, bashed his skull in, and changed it to a 4.5 and everyone agreed.
I'm one of those weird guys that actually watch the combine on NFL Network, and no one has ever done 47 reps, not even close. The are typically impressed when a guy goes into the mid-30's, 47 is crazy. Of course that doesn't mean he'll be a good NFL player, but it shows determination, and Barwis....
when barwis first came he was telling all the players what he was going to do with them and how much stronger they would be. he told them how much more that they would be able to lift. But when he got to Will he looked at him and said, 'you're good, i don't know how much bigger when can get ya'. so, he was already huge pre-barwis.

I was totally excited for Will Johnson as a senior when he chased down Brian Johnson of Utah at the beginning of that game.
Then he didn't do anything/didn't play much for the rest of the year.

Johnson started all 12 games.
