Gosh I hope VT wins. And yeah, "blahh, blahh, blahh, BSU is legit; Wahhhhh, cry, cry..."

Shut up. No, they don't win every big game. They're 2-4 in their last 6 bowls, the best team being Oklahoma, who they barely beat, and suddenly theyre "elite". And no, they don't play anyone. I don't buy the excuse that they can't get anyone to come up to Boise; if they want respect, they'll go anywhere to play anyone and quit bitching about it.

Bottomline; give BSU Michigan's schedule, they probably end up 8-4, or maybe 9-3. Give Michigan their schedule and we go at least 10-2, but probably 11-1, with a real good shot at 12-0.

People can quit crying about it being not fair to BSU, cuz its really not fair to teams like Alabama and tO$U who have to stay undefeated through actually tough schedules.

Hmm Boise against Michigan's schedule

UConn- Win

ND -Win

cupcakes - 2 wins

@Indiana - win

MSU - win

Iowa - win

@PSU - win

Illinois - win

@Purdue - win

Wisconsin - maybe, but if it's at home they win

@OSU - prob loss

So they go 11-1 , 10-2 at worst and guess what 10-2 gets you from the Big Ten...probably a BCS Bowl

Well, I guess that's your opinion cuz I don't think they beat Iowa or Wisconsin, so there's your 9-3.

But now we're back to the same argument we have every year; "Oh, they're better than team X, and they'd beat team Y...", but noone knows for sure, because their schedule SUCKS and they DON'T play good teams, so all we can do is speculate, which is stupid and no basis for a trip to the MNC.

The Broncos Defense is flying and the special teams.  Boise is playing their own version of Beamer Ball.  On another note, does Kellen Moore look kinda like Audrina Patridge or is it just me?

I dont like BSU, but Chris Peterson is good.  Seems like an excellent coach and he turned down offers to leave and stayed for probably less money.

Tech fans are so annoying... 20 Tech fans, me and my girlfriend.  So many excuses, so many people have no idea what's happening and stop yelling if you get a tackle.  You're done by 10!

how boise state is good every year.

they never recruit in the top 25 nationally

they've lost coaches so it's not like it's just on stability alone (kind of like VT plays)

and how did they graduate zebransky (sp?) and then find kellen moore?

they play in idaho! it makes no sense. i feel like i'm taking crazy pills

kellen moore just threw a beautiful fade to whatever TE that was to make it 17-0 and he was 39/3 TD to INT ratio last year I think. his only offers according to rivals were boise, idaho, and eastern washington.

and boise is dominating in the trenches with 2 and 3 star dudes from oregon.

they're cheating somehow. probably turned the game mode onto junior varsity

They entered D1 football in 1998 and I believe in 2002 went 12-1 and were ranked somewhere around 15.  It is a qb factory producing Zabransky, Moore and Ryan Dinwiddie (played in 2002 prior to zabransky).  Zabransky and Dinwiddie are both in the CFL. Also in 2002 they had a RB brock forsey who played in the NFL and scored against the Lions.

Long way to go, but I blogged at the JCB that if you dressed this exact Boise team in Scarlett and Gray they would have been at least 7-point chalk. Instead, I actually got them at +1.5

Been saying it ever since I began commenting at Mgo over three years ago. Ohio State is the only Big 10 team I would take over Boise on their home turf. I'd take them on the road against most of them,

so far, this is entirely impressive. however, I'm still remembering that against oklahoma, they jumped out to the lead, then gave it away and needed the hook and lateral to tie it up.

that said, vatech doesn't look at all competitive to boise. their d has shown signs of competence, but they just can't quite shut them down.

That OU team also had former WR Paul Thompson as their starting QB......

Someone earlier said Boise would go 11-1 with out schedule this year....well one thing that poster seems to forget you have to take into account the fact that for at least 5 or 6 of those games Boise would have to get up every week and be fired up to play. When they only have 2 legit games where they could lose it's very easy to be fired up for those games compared to having to get up for about 7 or 8  games a year.

Everytime they show the Refs waiting for the replay, you can see one of VT's cheerleaders who constantly looks like she's saying, "why so serious?".

Va Tech is losing. Fumble, blocked punt (on blown assignment), running into the kicker are the reasons why they are losing. That said, Boise's D-Line is dominating. Looks like maybe Va Tech is finally getting it together.

I feel bad for Beamer...with the D and special teams he has had over the last 10 yrs you would think he would have played for more than 1 national title.

But, this VT program has been so HORRIBLE on offense that they find ways to fail constantly year after year. They are so one dimensional it just kills them year after year..especially in a sorry ACC they should run through it every year and be on the brink of challenging for a title!
