Who is Mike Marrow and why didn't he want us?
The Detroit News is reporting that former Alabama redshirt RB Mike Marrow is transferring to Eastern Michigan over offers from Michigan and Wisconsin (among others).
Is this real or is Marrow trying to make it sound like he had more interest from big time programs than he really did? According to Rivals Michigan wasn't in play with Marrow back in 2009 so I would be surprised if we were actively involved in recruiting this transfer now.

My guess is that he really wanted to be a Teacher.

Since his recruiting profile listed him as a fullback, I highly doubt we gave him much of a look.

Maybe the DetNews editors screwed up and really meant to say over offers from "Western" Michigan and Wisconsin "Lutheran College".

...make it sound like he had more impressive offers? If Alabama offered, isn't that enough to gauge by? Does Alabama have a (recent) history of offering players unworthy of B10 offers?
