Where to watch the game in Ann Arbor
This probably seems like a stupid question, but I'm bringing my 8 year old and 5 year old up from Ohio tomorrow for the Men's BB game. Going to spend the day in Ann Arbor. I know there is bw3, is that going to be the best kid friendly spot to watch the game?

Warning: If you have a toddler he will demand to visit every one of their many fireplaces many, many times, and you will never get to sit down and watch the game.

Disappear, though. Once we put a tiny plastic baby (the store formerly known as middle earth, 29cents) on the fireplace and it was gone the next time. Also, hot wheels disappear quickly.

And it's Friday. Sounds like you really need this trip. Like others have said, Pizza House is probably the way to go.

Jolly Pumpkin is a surprisingly great place to watch given that you're in a small group and don't have a kid with you. Personally, for the sake of other fans, I wouldn't bring a kid to a bar/restaurant to watch a game unless it's a place like an Applebees or TGI Fridays.

Good beer and atmosphere but the lack of tv's makes it tough.

It's not quite in Ann Arbor, but if you drive down State Street past the airport to Saline, there's a Sports Bar called Oscar's in the strip mall in front of the WalMart. Decent Beer selection, tons of TV's, a playstation3 for the kids and a generally low-key and friendly crowd.
Food is decent and reasonably priced, with everything being done competently. When I lived in Saline, I went there all the time with my kiddo's.

BlueMetal, great stuff. I have no relevant advice but as someone who's sitting at the end of a week where I often didn't know which kid was getting picked up or dropped off at what place or what time, I empathize. Good on you.
