Bell’s Light Hearted. Baseball team just pulled out an extra inning win after blowing the lead in the 9th. Is Papa Grande the closer?

Water. Only because I am fasting to get blood drawn at 8AM. I want beer and am hungry. Not a good combination.

Month 1 of Keto ending today. I'm drinking a lovely water+Mio+salt+potassium+magnesium to keep up the electrolytes as I wait for this 2pm XFL game to start so I have something to watch on the treadmill.

About 20 lbs in the scale, but probably 13-15 lbs of actual weight after that quick initial water weight drop. I always do a pretty aggressive health "rehab" after football season and the holidays, but this is my first crack at keto. What I've noticed most is the appetite suppression. I'm easily able to fast intermittently (one meal a day this week), and haven't noticed an energy loss. If my blood work still looks good after a few months I might extend it longer than I originally anticipated.

I like it.  I lost about 20 lbs and eat when I’m  hungry.   If I watch calories I lose it quickly.

Once a get where I want I can eat as much as I want and drink three nights a week a don’t gain any weight.

it seems like it can work differently for some people but the whole not being hungry thing is key for me.

I've always been able to cut weight quickly, but I'm a yo-yo -- I'm either going up or going down with the seasons. Usually when I cut weight I'm starving. This is the first diet I've tried where I can cut weight, workout, and not feel starved. Pretty optimistic after one month. I think carbs really do play games with your brain. In the past, on days I worked out hard I'd always wake up in the middle of the night starving. I haven't had that the last couple weeks since I acclimated to keto. No more 3am Cliff Bars or bowls of cereal, lol.

Water.  I was doing too much stress drinking thanks to a rough stretch at work and I was becoming concerned about its effects.  However, I'll tell you what takes the edge off after a particularly shitty day: legal cannabis.  Thanks, JB Pritzker!
