What are you drinking [for Ronnie] thread
Apologies if the What-are-you-drinkin threads are OT or only on Fridays. I couldn’t help myself. I think it’s my second post here.
I’m drinking a Pliny the Elder brew out here in the Bay Area. WMU grad of ’10 but am a MI fan. Just had kid number 2/Covid-baby two weeks ago (TBH a complete, and welcome, surprise(!)) I just want to cheers to the team today. The past 1.5 years have just been sooo efffin depressing and messed up; climate crisis, Covid, racial strife, the fear that our kids will grow up without social skills b/c of the aforementioned, you name it. The stress. So, thank you to the team, to Bell, to Corum, to McNamara for the hardwork, the blissful escape, the exxxcelent play. I salute you, and pour one out for Ronnie Bell right now.
Bell’s injury brought an inordinate bummer to the otherwise-awesome game today. I was weirdly affected. And I’m not surprised. He’s such an awesome player, and I’m, obviously, emotional. Wanted to start this thread to send some prayers and good vibes his way.
Cheers to you all. -for what it’s worth, I’m of course wearing my MI Football t-shirt today in the Bay Area and I got at least 4 “Go-Blues”.

Sorry if it's not actually for Ronnie, but I've had copious volume of E&J Brandy XO. It's a little syrupy, not at all a true XO brandy, but at 27.99/1.75L, it's really not bad. And I just couldn't bring myself to wipe out that much good scotch or Claude Chatelier XO Cognac.

Also a WMU grad but have been a Michigan fan for 18 years prior. The last 18 months have been taxing on the mental health. Take care of yourself and those young kids of yours. They are what it’s all about.

Iced tea, lame I know but it is Arnold Palmer so there’s that. To Ronnie hopefully he can come back this year but obviously most importantly he just heals.
Excited for the rest of the season I think Harbaugh’s luck has to change at some point.

I'm having some Oberon in honor of WMU since Bells is located near K'zoo. Enjoy it while it lasts. And it's Ronnie's last name. Also will have a couple pours of Buffalo Trace, neat.

Societe the Pupil tonight. Canned two weeks ago. Such a good IPA. Enjoyed some fantastic Cellarmaker last body as well as a fantastic Russian River.
I also bet some money on the Arizona money line at +375. Reasonable bet?
