Weird Article - RR + Pryor
This Gregg Doyel article is really weird and makes little sense. It seems to suggest that Pryor did not succeed in his first year at OSU, even though I think he went 8-1 as a starter and the only loss was to a top ten PSU team? Really a weird article. Not to mention that he is linking RR and Pryor, which is valid seeing as we tried to swoop him from OSU and PSU at the last second. But this article just says nothing in it, it brings up RR's past without a conclusion other than his second year at a program is vastly improved over the first...
Ending with this weird stuff:
But in theory, Rich Rodriguez and his space-age offense were going to win at Michigan like the next Bo Schembechler.
That's the thing about theories. Theories come, and theories go.

That felt like something from a high school newspaper.
I almost feel like that was written before last season, as well as another version where they both succeeded greatly, and then even though neither made sense, the author just had to run one.
than reading inane fluff from sportswriters desperate to fill the column inches. It's stupefying, too.
I couldn't believe that some idiot at media day asked Rich to talk about Pryor. He was obviously a bit irritated.
Q. Terrelle Pryor, preseason offensive
Player of the Year; you recruited him. Do you
see the potential there? What do you see
coming out of him in the next couple years?
RICH RODRIGUEZ: I think he's a great
player. I'd prefer to talk about my own guys.
Did he say Prior was not successful? Wow. I think coming in as a true freshman going 8-1 is more than successful. That is awesome. Did I just give TP/OSU a compliment? I feel dirty. This guy Doyel needs something to do.
His picture says "I am desperately trying to thug my way out of the fact that my name is Gregg."
