Betting aside, this is crappy slate of games tomorrow. Only two other games between ranked teams, and one of them is ASU/Utah. Seriously, what is the second best game tomorrow? Oregon/UW should be good I guess but other than that it is a bunch of stinkers.

Really surprised that Army's a favorite over Georgia State. They've been awful in their last two games, and are going on the road against a 4-2 team that beat Tennessee this year.

the payout was -105...($105 wager to pay $100).  Won't say how much I put down but it was 25% of my annual "gambling budget"

Looking hard at the UF line now. That looks like an overreaction giving SC more credit than they are due for UGA's total dud last week, and hitting UF too hard for losing to LSU.  Only concern is the trap potential for UF with UGA up next.

Question to all the betting junkies here.  What is the best parlay you've ever hit on?  Number of plays, total bet and net win?  I've hit two 6-play parlays in my betting career.  Both of them were $5 or less total bet.  One was all baseball bets which admittedly I do not follow closely.  I got lucky and placed a $2 bet and won $94.  I don't recall the other but the odds weren't quite as good.  Both of them were online.  Problem is I've lost much more on parlays than I've won so it's probably not a great betting strategy.

I hit an 8 team nba/college basketball parlay once. I had a couple of money lines with the favorite so the payout was like $940 on a $10 wager. Went double or nothing on the Lakers immediately after and walked away with about $1700. They say you remember the losses over the wins... not me. I lose more than I win, so the victories stay with me.

I'm actually going to use your question to post about a 5-team parley that I lost a few years ago.

I had hit on the first four games of the parley and the final game was a late night West Coast game (it was something like San Jose St vs. New Mexico or two other equally crappy teams). I actually stayed up to follow the game on ESPN Gamecast's play by play (this stinker wasn't televised) and the team I needed to cover was, in fact covering, late in the 4th quarter. The other team made a late, meaningless, drive and lined up for a 52 yard FG which their freshman kicker actually made. That team still lost by like 18 pts or something but cost me my parley and a potential $500 on a $20 bet.

I still have the small hole in my wall which was formed when I hurled the pen I had been nervously clasping in an iron grip after that kid made that meaningless FG.

Ahh yes, missing on a big parlay due to a bad beat.  That's the worst.  Sorry, man.

Wife and I were in Vegas about 5 or 6 years ago and we were sitting next to a guy in the Flamingo sports book who was anxiously watching a Red Wings playoff game.  Turned out the guy was originally from Dearborn but moved to Vegas to be a professional sports gambler.  Young guy, maybe early 30's.  Anyway, he showed us his 8-play parlay ticket with $100 total bet.  He won the first 7 plays and was waiting on a Red Wings win for the 8th (not +1.5).  I believe it was the playoffs.  The ticket was going to pay like $8,000 or something ridiculous like that.  Well, you might guess what happened.  The Wings lost by 3 goals or something so it wasn't all that close.  I felt bad for the guy until he told me that he hit an 8-play the week before that paid in the thousands.

I like Florida-5.5 and the under for Oregon/UW (but I never bet unders on college football games with a low point spread because of OT rules - l know the chances of OT are slim but it still scares me off a line).

Of course I also like Michigan. I always do and it doesn’t work out a lot of the time. I’m still pissed we took a knee at the 12 yard line last week. A TD and we cover. Anyway, if I bet the game, hopefully there will be a money-line available. I think we win. I doubt we lose and cover. We will either win out right or fall apart and lose by 10+.  PSU has a couple of playmakers, but I don’t think they are that great and I think Michigan will win (as long as we don’t fumble early in the game or have a huge play taken away by penalty).

if you're going to bet on a Michigan game like this one against PSU... put a good bit of money on the opponent's Moneyline.  If Michigan wins you'll be so pleasantly surprised and happy that you won't care that you lost money. If Michigan loses you'll have made a little bit of money to cover the alcohol to numb the pain.

Just cashed in on Ohio St.- market has not caught up on how good they are. Been betting them every week. They should be getting Bama-like 35+ point lines and aren't.

Also have:

Purdue +18.5 vs Iowa

Arizona State +13.5 vs Utah

Boise St. -6.5 vs BYU

USC -9.5 vs Arizona

Oklahoma St -3.5 vs Baylor

Nice job at getting USC and Oklahoma st at those numbers , as you must’ve gotten them early in the week .  I am happy to get Ok St at -4 ,  but it seems every handicapper and their mom also have OK St also haha (well everyone except “Smooth jimmy”) of course .  But I don’t worry about that as much with college football as I do in the NFL
