Weber: "I'm Still Considering Them [MSU]"
Sounds like Weber may catch the game today in EL which on the surface is no biggie. Considering the circumstances around the program I guess the fact he is still considering MSU is also not a surprise. The term "commit" is not meaning much right now.
Per Wiltfong:
Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech Top247 running back and Michigan commit Michael Weber tells 247Sports he may visit Michigan State this afternoon for the Spartans game against the Wolverines.
Several of Weber's teammates will be in East Lansing and he said he may use one of their tickets.
"I'm (still) considering them," Weber said of Michigan State.
The nation's No. 13 running back according to the 247Sports Composite, Weber led his team to a city championship Friday evening, carrying just 11 times for 178 yards and three touchdowns, and adding a 76-yard scoring reception. He played just three quarters in the 39-7 win over previously undefeated King.
Weber is the country's No. 112 prospect overall.

mean nothing to me anymore. Look at what State has done with nothing and what we have done with 4 and 5 stars. We'll be fine with who comes when we get a good coach. No one can predict how a high school player will pan out.

It's been a pretty reliable system outside of the state of Michigan.

Sparty already has Larry Scott.
Our biggest threat is USC. They always seem to steal a big time recruit from Michigan.

I can't blame him for feeling this way. Everything around UM is shaky an uncertain right now; MSU is stable and has had great succuess the last few years. I do like to think that these kids consider more than just football and realize that a Michigan degree is something that holds a lot of weight.

don't think about education. They think about exposure and the quickest and best way to get to the NFL.

It's sad because only a very small percentage of those prospects actually make it to the NFL. I've always wondered what happens to the football players that don't take academics seriously and don't make it to the NFL.
