Way too early home opener weather forecast
August 25th, 2011 at 1:05 PM ^
Jeez. I hate these hot days for the early-season games. Oh well, it makes the Oberon taste that much better.

cold and windy like last year. Playing beer pong on the golf course was rough lol
August 25th, 2011 at 1:09 PM ^
but it has been a long time since my party days so I am wondering if you could briefly describe this game of beer pong you speak of? Seriously, I have never played it :S

i'm sorry you missed out on the glory

I have to say that Baseball is the best drinking game of all time. It is a combination of beer pong and flip cup. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseball_Drinking_Game. The game itself is actually addictive, seriously, try it.
August 25th, 2011 at 1:29 PM ^
The first time I ever got drunk was by playing this game, and I will agree that it is quite glorious. And oh, so addicting.
August 25th, 2011 at 2:58 PM ^
also a great game. my only objection is that you actually have to keep score.
August 25th, 2011 at 3:09 PM ^
great game... though my favorite drinking game of all time is called "drink 'til you can't." :)
August 25th, 2011 at 8:59 PM ^
while "playing a game" is to involve 10 - 12 folks in a big game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Drink every time you lose, everybody loses every time, and since everybody loses and drinks, everybody WINS!!
I kind of invented it, so if you profit from marketing this idea, shoot me a couple of mgoshirts or something.

tis a gift from god ...a sheet of plywood, 10 dixie cups arranged like bowling pins on each end and teams of two try to elimate the other teams cups by shooting (or bouncing) ping pong balls into their cups.

Just another sign the seasons almost here, plus start the new era of Michigan. Hail bitchez
August 25th, 2011 at 1:24 PM ^
I don't care if the forecast is "brimstone with a chance of monkey feces." GAMEDAY IS IN THE TEN-DAY FORECAST.
August 25th, 2011 at 1:34 PM ^
Not too early to have another reason to get more jacked on the fact that gameday is that much closer...

Weather.com is the TMZ of weather...never trust it.
Always go with the NWS and add 2-3 degrees onto the high.
FWIW, Accuweather (slightly more accurate than Weather.com) has 88 and thunderstorms.
August 25th, 2011 at 1:40 PM ^
Or you could go to Wunderground.com and keep it all in the Michigan family:
August 25th, 2011 at 2:32 PM ^
Yup. Always choose Wunderground for weather material (or your local National Weather Service office). And if you're bored, read Jeff Masters' (UM AOSS graduate) hurricane hunter story that's linked somewhere under his blog. Riveting stuff and especially meaninful with Irene bearing down on the East Coast.

the weathermen of the weather underground have really never been replaced.
August 25th, 2011 at 4:06 PM ^
How does one accurately predict the weather if they are always underground?
August 25th, 2011 at 1:42 PM ^
This far out is a little tough to predict, but at least it seems to be good. Just excited for football to return, no matter the weather!
August 25th, 2011 at 1:46 PM ^
man i really hope it's not that hot. i live in a 3rd floor apartment so mid to high 80's=hotter than hell without the air on. i was hoping to have the air off and the sliding door and windows open for the first game.
August 25th, 2011 at 2:52 PM ^
I am coming to town for the ND game, and was just thinking to myself that I really hope its not hot for that game.
And then I remembered that kickoff is at 8pm! Weather should be perfect!

Look like they are expecting a good chance of rain that day.
August 25th, 2011 at 7:56 PM ^
That's not way too early.. I've been checking the 15 day forecast on Accuweather since last week.
