Way OT / Efton Reid denies commitment to Pit, eventually commits to LSU
After failing to commit on his 1st scheduled date, he planned to commit on May 7, but that announcement has now been put on hold twice, and was foiled by a fake Twitter account on Friday. Reid, who is reportedly selecting between Pitt, Florida State, and LSU, had initially announced that a decision would be made on April 21. That day came and went with nothing, but on Thursday night’s Reid’s mom posted to Twitter that her son “is announcing his college commitment tomorrow at 12 noon! EST. The time has finally come! Mama Bear has spoken. He ends up picking L$U. I wonder what happened?
I forgot the other link. It was reported that he committed to Pitt, but they denied it, and said that was someone else who created a fake Twitter acct.
More like Effing Reid', amirite
What happened? Its LSU which means the check cleared.
Check? Cold hard cash, gift cards, and Bitcoin only. Unless u want to get caught.
Looks like LSU is trying hard to secure that 4th playoff spot away from its swing position between OU, LSU and ND. All they have to do is build up the team to just have their one loss to Alabama and they're in the playoffs. I just hope the playoffs are expanded to 12 team ASAP.
Basketball my man. Basketball.
LOL, must have football on the brain.
Haha I figured as much just thought I would point it out. Not sure why anyone would downvote you?
BBall commit.
I remember when I badly wanted Reid. Dude really sounds now like he was waiting on the "best offer". Glad we steered clear of this hot mess.
That is a strong ass post ldevon.
The last time I saw anyone commit to The Pit was when I watched PCU.
I assumed that it meant he had committed initially to pit barbecuing, which I found intriguing.
Then, of course, I saw LSU, so I assumed he went and purchased McDonalds instead.
McDonald's bag happened.
We’ll kick their ass in March again if we get the chance
I just checked LSU's class...yep same as usual. They have 3 centers!!! and a 6-5 PG. Also, they got 4 transfers. Obviously highlighted by Illinois guard Adam Miller. Wade has plenty of tall guys to do nothing with.
