I didn't know Moody had that kind of leg. He might've got that in from 60

Corum is going to house 1 or 2 kicks this year

Kolesar scares me returning punts. He misjudged the first punt badly and muffed another IIRC. We don't have anyone better?

Michael Barrett might end up in the NFL as a special teams weapon. That’s the third fake punt I’ve seen him convert in his career (two on runs, and one on that pass to Dax Hill two years ago). Glad he could contribute even after being demoted on defense. Still wish we had a wildcat package for him; he was a great runner and super accurate QB in HS.

Corum is going to score on a return.

They should probably figure out a better punt returning situation because there were some bad things in that department.

Very well done tonight.  Moody great fg from 52 with plenty to spare.  Some good punts.  Good kickoffs and coverage.  Kolesar lost one punt in the lights and had a nice return.

ST were really strong tonight. Great kick by Moody that seized momentum. Terrific fake punt. Excellent punting and coverage. Kolesar is our backup punt returner, give him a chance.

Well done, ST!

The special teams were great again, other than Kolesar who looks like he doesn't belong out there.  If they don't find someone better, it's going to really come back to bite us.

I can't believe you are one of those who hate Harbaugh so much that you can abandon reason when thinking about him. There is no way he would endanger winning by playing a less capable player in a key position just because his father played on the same team. That is an especially unlikely possibility when his whole career is resting on the team's success this season.

Another bright spot with Moody and Robbins. Return kicks with Corum are excellent. He's doing as well or better than Giles Jackson from last few years.

No roughing the kicker penalties last night.

Special teams gets an A.

I don't mind having Kolesar as the punt returner, and he can even fair catch everything, as long he actually catches the ball before it hits the turf.

Moody is a beast. He's definitely filled out since his Northville days.

I love me some Robbins hang time.

And the coverage units had a second straight excellent game.

A major argument here on MGoBlog last week was the decision to have Ronnie Bell as our punt returner.   There was a contingent arguing that you shouldn't risk injury to your best player by having him return punts.    The opposite argument was that you want your most dynamic player to return punts like Woodson, Howard, DPJ, Peppers.

I favor having your most dynamic player return punts and it would seem the M coaching staff did too by giving that job to Bell.    So how is the next man up Kolesar?    If you listed your most dynamic playmakers from 1 - 20 and Bell was #1 what is Kolesar?   20?

I don't get the logic.
