Hell, who wouldn't?
"When I call somebody a midget, clearly I'm not trying to insult f---ing midgets. I'm just using basketball terminology."
Clocking dollars? Does that mean making money? If so, can't we just say that?
Using context clues, I ascertain that it means something along the lines of "acquire."
Strive to win. If you lose....win.
I would sign it too, but it would look more like this:
"Clowney hits like a pussy. -Vincent Smith"
Strive to win. If you lose....win.
In all seriousness, Vincent is the man. He wasnt shaken when it happened, and he's never been shaken since. He did a great Q&A session on reddit which just illustrated his effortless badassery. He even answered a question of mine about his sick blocking, 9 DAYS AFTER I POSED IT, cuz he's that sweet. He cited his "killer instinct", which I believe 100%. V. Smith forever.
Better than gaining attention because of a fake dead girlfriend.
Dead fake girlfriend.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.
He deserves some cash after that hit.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
Gotta profit where you can. Smith seems like a good kid and was always a tough player, glad he can take all the jokes in stride.
Jeez one would think this is the first time a d lineman has ever jumped a snap and clobbered a running back in the backfield.
Not that I loved Rich Rod less, but that I loved Michigan more.
Good for V. Smith and turning this into a positive.
As for the hit itself, I think its being blown way out of proportion by now. No one, including myself, will deny that it was a great hit, but ESPN has just been salivating over this crap for the past 3 months like they've never seen a big hit before. It's hit Best of the Best for Top 10 about 40 straight times, countless articles have been written about it, yada yada yada. How it managed to beat out that high school buzzer beater shot a few weeks ago on top 10 is almost offensive.
Nobody was blocking Clowney. It was a missed assignment. Line up any defensive lineman in America in that same spot and they'd make that same play.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
I'm gonna "clock dollars" tonight when Iowa State wins.
Michigan: 903–315–36 (Best in NCAA)
vs Ohio State: 58-44-6
vs Notre Dame: 23-16-1
vs MSU: 68-32-5
vs B1G: 522-197-24
vs SEC: 20-8-1
vs PAC 12: 48-24-1
vs Big 12: 10-5-1<
Smith is getting the last laugh out of all of this.
And he's leaving Michigan with a 3-1 record against notre dame.
When the ADept sells special jerseys and gear, you'll see my picture next to the targeted customer crowd. A sheep.....but a Blue one.....
I still laugh at our fans who try to downplay the hit. I guarantee if Mike Martin would have did that to Dan Herron or somebody we would all talk that play up for decades.
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

A few things:
1. Dan Herron plays for Ohio State, and we are Michigan. Any UM-OSU play is bigger than a UM-South Carolina Outback Bowl play.
2. Dan Herron was a (multi-year?) starter. So it would be a star-on-star play.
3. We're not saying that South Carolina fans shouldn't be talking about it. It's about how much this is getting played up be people not from South Carolina.
No doubt that was a big hit. But every season there are equally big hits in equally big games (this one wasn't all that big) that don't get near this kind of hype. And the funny thing is, if Vincent Smith didn't have dreads, his helmet probably doesn't come off and we're not talking about it at all anymore.
So my buddy and I are sitting here watching the tourney and I run the story about Vincent making money off the pic. "That's a violation, blah blah Wolverines cheat!" Nevermind Smith has graduated. Goes without saying, he's a Sparty fan. Close friends or not, Spartys aren't the coldest beers in the fridge.
Where can I buy the,"Clowney hits like a pussy. -Vincent Smith" autographed picture?
Fergodsakes!
That site owner is consistently horrible, but glad Smith has continued to take "the hit" in stride.
