I would have expected Crow T. Robot to be seen in the foreground of this game making his usual off-color and hilarious remarks regarding the quality of the play overall. Having watched the game last night, I am rather disappointed that the comments were not added, even if ESPN tried so hard to make it interesting for people.

I turned on the replay of this game last night and it worked better than half a bottle of ambien. 11 hours of zombie sleep. I haven't slept over 7 hours this year.

I highly suggest turning this on with some light  volume if you want to catch some good sleep tonight.

Stout. I would like to revise my 24-0 to 64 to 0 and I am a serious as a heart attack. That game will be off the board on the card this week. I have not seen tackling that bad since I watched a pop warner game.

It happened about 3-4 mins to go before the end of the 3rd. They measured from the middle of the sticks, so about 5 yards was taught. Is this allowed?

10 year high football ref here, that is exactly how you do it. Once the line to gain is made amd the chains are reset, the linesman clips a marker at one of the ends of a 5 or 10 yard line. When a measurement is required, you can run out the chains, put that marker on the same yard line, and measure for the line to gain.
Any part of the chain that is before that marker is insignificant in the measurement.
