Utah looks good early

I hope that this holds up, as I would love to see Nick Saban and Alabama lose to Utah. The Utes toyed with Bama on their first drive. On a separate note, I cannot believe that Alabama's stud tackle would talk to an agent prior to finishing a bowl game. If this is true (It is hard to believe it isn't given Saban's proclivity to do everything to win), I sure hope the Lions pass on him. What a selfish act. Go Utes.

The people comparing this Utah team to Hawaii last year and assumed Bama would smoke them in a similar fashion were delusional. Utah actually played some real teams, beating Oregon State OOC and playing in a pretty decent midmajor conference that laid the smack down on the Pac 10 head to head. Hawaii played jack nothing last year on their schedule. But even the biggest Utah homer couldn't have imagined a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. Good god, did they come to play tonight, and that vaunted Bama defense is being made to look silly. Christ, our defense did a much better job than this.
