Game starting at 4, from Honduras, where it's 90.
Biggest surprise is the US starting Omar Gonzalez and Geoff Cameron in central defense, inexperienced defender in a Central American qualifier may lead to some interesting calls.
Other key news is that the US started Timmy Chandler, meaning he's captied to the US, and Jozy Altidore, meaning he's out of Klinnsman's doghouse.
Wow, Dempsey taken down with no call, then the US gives up a 3-1 which Honduras blows with a clumsy offside.
FabianJohnson looks like he is unaware that he's on defense today. Wtf?

how are you guys watching this game?
the supreme head butt
I get Bein sports. $8 a month for the package, though I'm sure you could stream it on firstrowsports.eu

Do you think it is worth it? How is the stream quality?

Significantly better commentary than espn, camerawork is fine, it's a much better option than streaming on firstrowsports. The package also comes with fox soccer plus (Everton is never on Fox Soccer) and Bein also has La Liga so for me it's worth it. If you're a fan of one of the top EPL teams It may not be worth it for the 5 US games they will have.

I like the commentary so far. Not a fan of the big EPL teams so it might be worth it. I'll have to check it out.

15' in. Cobi Jones advocating a 0-0 draw as the goal.
Considering the run of play so far, that would be a glorious result for the US. We look terrible.
For those who can't watch, here's what's happening: Honduras holds possession, puts a few passes together, takes an awful shot or gets cught offsides. Tim Howard kicks it long, Honduras gains possession, repeat.

I want us to play it from the back more. It should be easier with Cameron back there. He is pretty good on the ball.

What channel is it on? ESPN 2 has Germany-France
edit - nevermind I see some answers above. Quite sad we cannot watch our own qualifier in our own country on a basic cable channel. Sigh.
I know it's early, but this is uuugly. Poor communication, very poor passing, Even worse first touches.
Cobb Jones may have the right idea...

Yeah, looks like a bunch of guys who haven't played much together on a bad field.
Which is exactly what it is.
Dempsey, Altidore, and Bradley have played together for years now. Regardless, lack of familiarity has nothing to do with poor first touches. It has more to do with the field, but these are professional soccer players. You'd like to think they could cope with field conditions. All that said, the Honduras defense looks pretty bad, I think we score at least one today.

Great counter by the US. Altidore flicks it just over.
Wow. Thank god for Fabian johnson.

Timmy Chandler is strugling hard. I'd be shocked if he played past the 60 minute mark

Who is on the bench at RB?

Chandler is a RB. Bocanegra.

Have we ever played Boca on the right? Maybe Brad Evans?
Chandler did look totally gassed. Tough to go from winter in Germany to 90 degrees and humid on a long grass field.
He's mostly a center back, and has played left in the past, but honestly I'm of the opinion that unless you are using the RB as a wing-back, you can interchange center backs easily. And in these conditions, no one is going to be stealing up any sidelines, so may as well put the best defenders in the back line.

There's a ton of space in this game. It looks like games from the 1970s where half the players were pack-a-day smokers.
Altidore looking like he's going to get a break away today, nice.
