UPDATED--Semi OT: Harbaugh Article
You can see a lot of Bo in Harbaugh. And while Jim sometimes needs to self censor himself (imho), I truly love the guy. What he's done at Stanford is amazing, considering the fact they do not have a loyal football fan base (from what I have been told and read).
It would be awesome to see Stanford play U of M at the Rose Bowl.

Updated: Stanford easily took ND to the wood shed. Funny thing is just before game ended, Harbaugh takes a TO. Then ND gets the ball and with 5 secs left, Kelly takes a TO. Harbaugh is seen laughing. Game ends and camera shows Harbaugh trying to find Kelly who is giving NBC an interview and then walks off. I don't think Kelly wanted to shake Harbaugh's hand. If anyone knows if the two did meet after the game, let me know. But it appears Kelly is a dick.

See, that I understand. If you are running your second and third-string guys out there and the other team just cannot stop them running the ball, then so be it. But Harbaugh calls blitzes late in games, does the kicker freezing stunt, etc. - he'll say he is just playing every down like it matters, but at some point he is just being himself and doing what he wants. Now, maybe that's why he is a good coach, but I'm not a huge fan.

I know RR is a better coach but sometimes I wish we could hire Harbaugh as our "HC for press Conferences". Can you imagine how he would tear Rosenberg a new one if he ever opened hi mouth?

To see Harbaugh take Rosenberg apart. Hell, he can do it from the Stanford podium for all I care. Watching Rosenberg be reduced to a quivering mass of ink and goo would be the high point of the year, (unless we beat OSU).

last week, to be completely honest, i was rooting for mass to beat us so we could just fire rich rod, be done with this garbage on defense, hire harbaugh, and get back on track.
harbaugh is basically our coach in waiting right now. he's good friends with brandon. the two of them have already come to an agreement. in the event that richrod doesn't completely BLOW the fan base away this season, harbaugh will be named our head coach going into next season. it doesnt matter that lloyd got mad at him about those TRUE academic comments. lloyd doesn't like anyone (that didn't play for him or coach with him). that's why brandon asked him to leave the athletic department. - this entire paragraph is 100% true. i can't reveal my source, but it's a big one, and a very respected one.
uconn sucks. if nd's qb doesn't get hurt, we lose that game. if that run-of-the-mill 1aa team we played doesn't IMPLODE at the end of the 1st half, we might've even lost that game. bowling green, i repeat, BOWLING GREEN, a mediocre MAC team, probably has about a 1 in 2 chance of beating us. And then...the rest of the big10...omg. I'm even scared to play indiana right now with this defense.
Harbaugh's the hottest coach out there right now. He's not just some idiot that got handed a nick-saban recruited team like Les Miles. He's a great coach that took an academic cake-eating program from nothing to...what will probably end up being...a national championship contending team this season, and with all the recruiting restrictions he has going against him. He's THE BEST COLLEGE COACH IN THE WORLD that doesn't have a 'destination' job...and he just happens to be a michigan man and embody everything that we hold dear. If we blow this...and don't hire him after this season...and someone else gets him a destination job, like penn state or something, WE WILL BE COMPLETELY F-D.

I was rooting for uconn...and notre dame...and umass to beat us. uconn if they would've scored more points than us would've beat us and notre dame if they didn't implode and scored more points and we scored less would've beat us...and umass if they knew how to stop us and didn't trun the ball over and if they scored more pointss...well they woul've beat us too.
I have an inside source that i can't reveal but he is someone VERRRRRRRY close to the program and if i told you all who it is you would think....damn....redgreene is a stud...but i digress....this source told me that harbaugh had dinner with david brandon right before the umass game at the Outback Steakhouse and David Brandon whispered in Jim's ear...hey jim, be ready.
Well...that's all i needed to hear. Jim Harbaugh will be our next coach and in fact him and david brandon already got a deal...althoiugh it's not in writing...although they did do their secret michigan man handshake.
And just so you know...bgsu has a 9 outta 18 chance at beating us tomorrow...and Indiana...oh boy...i just can't even phantom what they might do to us.

I like Harbaugh a lot. I wouldn't be mad if he was our coach, with that said, I'm glad rich is our coach. You can start to finally see how his offense CAN look with the right people. Now he just needs to get a better defense....
