Update: Kalamazoo shooter now in custody

What the fuck?! People make me fucking sick. Stay safe to anyone in Kzoo.

Hope no one else gets hurt. It's sad every time I hear about something like this but never thought it would happen so close to home like this one.

Who played at Western and lives in KZoo. Friends on Facebook since the beginning. Never messaged him until tonight. He's normally very active. I haven't heard anything yet. Sickening.

Should probably update the title to reflect that a suspect is in custody and police believe things are now safe.

This is fucked up. I grew up, and my parents still live, in Colony Woods very close to where this dude was shooting. Makes me sick I have to call my parents to make sure they're ok when I'm living in Chicago. No politics but gun control?

I don't care if you're pro gun or gun control but to say that a proven mass shooting is an inside job is sickening.

If you think this is "another false flag" with ZERO information to support that, a football board with a no politics rule is not the place, as the Internet has 1000's of spots specifically for you and your brethren.
As someone with family and friends very close to where these shootings occurred, please have some f'n respect until more details are at least known and people verify if their loved ones are safe.

I lived in Kalamazoo for 15 years.  This is heartbreaking.

Holy hell. I used to live in the next apartment complex over from where the shooting started. My kids still have friends that live in the complex where this started.

I work about 3/4 mile from where this jerk shot people at the car dealership. Occasionally eat lunch at some of the places by the Cracker Barrel where the last shooting in the spree happened.

This is horrible. Hug your families tight today.

To question everything has merit. Consistently arriving at the wrong conclusion does not. So disrespectful to the families involved.

 

Maybe a pep talk (berating) from Harbaugh would cure this nutter of his condition.

Bad, sickening night in my town. Shout out to the Kalamazoo Pubic Safety for working the case and capturing this murderer. It's time for swift justice.

Too sad. World is a sad place and these kind of events remind me how I should cherish every day I get to live.

I live near Texas corners, about 2 miles from that Cracker Barrel, had no idea this was going on last night. So sad, prayers for the victims.

My kid and I were at WMU for a soccer camp. Come home, go out to dinner, and this happens? What the hell is wrong with people?!

I know two of the victims.  It's possible I will officiate their funerals later this week.  Peace.
