UM and ND are both like mutual finds, actually. They have both lagged the market and fallen short of market expectations for decades.

However, I think this particular fund is a buy-and-hold investment. It'll take about 14 years to mature. 

U of M and ND are the "active manager with a lot of churn" model. Both brought in a new investment manager who promised a newfangled approach but managed to tank the funds' value.

Michigan hired a new CEO who did manage to make a lot of money, but only by draining the fund of its remaining capital.

ND killed a guy. Investment managers who kill people are not recommended.

This is the most MGoBlog thing I've ever seen...

With that said, I would like to see some additional information before pulling out the cash from under my mattress, such as: (a) manager tenure, (2) team expenses, (iii) best season / worst season results, and (D) Harbaugh's sharpie ratio.  K, thx.
