UM Radio Call of Burke's 3?
Does any body know where I can find the UM radio call of "The Shot?" If you also know where I can find the Kansas one that would also be great.

They played the Michigan radio call of the shot on 950AM last night after the game. You might want to check and see if it is posted there.

While we're on the subject of radio, I had to listen to part of the game last night on my way home to dash to the TV. I like Matt Shepherd, and he's a hell of a nice guy in person, but I find his play-by-play style incredibly hard to follow. Almost no emotion, very rapid-fire monotone, and not incredibly helpful to describe what's going on. Am I crazy?

I didn't even think of that. Yeah, I'd love to hear it. Matt's call of Stu Douglas' 3 at Breslin was memorable. But I'm sure this will top it.

I didn't even record it but now I obviously wish I had.
Even if I had the footage, I probably wouldn't upload it since anything I upload these days gets blocked. I'd say 70% of my videos are currently blocked.

I have been thinking how sweet it would have been if Gus Johnson called the game last night. CBS has got to bring him back in for the tournement. FOX has him calling soccer games.

My son and I were listening to it on 950 on the way home. We were sitting at a stop light when he hit it. We were screaming looking forward, turned, continued screaming to each other. Was broken from my euphoria when the light turned green and I didn't know it. The guy behind me obviously wasn't listening. It was great call. I, too, would love to hear it again.

I love that they don't actually say that the shot went it. They just yell and give the new score.
I think one of them yelled "GOOOOD!" at one point there.
I'm pretty sure Shepard yells "GOT IT," but the "IT" gets partially drowned out by Merritt's "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH..."
Anyone know where we can buy a high quality photo of The Shot ?? I checked MGoBlue and they don't have it...
These are great finds but NOTHING in my mind will ever beat the day somebody posted "Does anybody remember that one play about 15 years ago when one of our guys, I think it was a Tight End or something, blocked like three guys on one play and we scored a touchdown?"
And based on that precise description of the play in question the Wolverine Historian if memory serves not only remembered the play, he posted the freaking CLIP within less than five minutes of the thread hitting the board. Since that day I have never underestimated the ability of people around here to find and post just about anything once it's been requested.
