Odd question about this game. Did it actually start at noon or did it start early? I ask because I had set the DVR to start at noon and when I went to play it the game was already at about the 10 minute mark (the start of the the TD drive when we started inside our 10). Luckily I had recorded Game Day, too, so I had the start anyway. Just trying to figure out if my DVR went nuts or if it actually did start early...?

Thanks everyone! I was guessing it was the DVR, as I'd never seen that happen before, but figured it was worth asking just to make sure. With the weather from the tropical storm / hurricane we do occasional get Directv "blips" when bad weather goes through. The other games I recorded later in the day started on time, so I'm guessing it was just weather-related (now that I know it wasn't the start time).

OP is based. Had a day date w a virgin I couldnt miss. Felt guilty about not watching. Feel like I'm sellout if I don't see every game in full.

This is sarcasm, right? Because if no, you need to rethink your priorities, my man. Michigan football will be there for you for the rest of your life. The same cannot be said of spending time with young coeds. Take every opportunity you can to do that now as time is not on your side, regardless of what's happening with Michigan football.

Hawaii caveats apply, but their offense is less of a tire fire than their defense. Delano Hill looked great in the first half. If we can get a plus contribution there on top of everything else we have going on D, it's going to be a great year.

I really enjoyed the team's performance, but I couldn't get over the basketball player on the jerseys. It confused me as to what sport I was watching. /s

I love the depth Harbaugh is developing.  He's taking full advantage of the great starters, and by getting up big early, isn't affraid to put in backups and get them experience.  Some of these guys may end up being big contributors if a starter goes down and it's nice to not have them see their first snaps in the middle of a big game.

Also, loved seeing how Brown moved around pieces on defense. Looked like Peppers was all over, from up on the line, to back as a safety, which would make it hard to game plan around him.

Didn't like seeing Bunting look to have taken a step back on blocking, saw seeral plays where he lost his guy and it turned a big run into an average gain.

Poggi also seems to still have targeting issues.  On the Evans long TD run, it was well blocked by the OL, and Poggi gets about 3 yards past the LOS and can't find a guy so he turns around and blocks someone who has no chance of making a play.  Only because of Evans' speed is he able to split 2 defenders and take it to the house.  Any other RB on the roster and it would be a 7-10 yard gain.
