Hope we get him.

Barely relevant, but don’t expect Jerry on the sidelines if we land Brenden. Jerry Rice is not in his son’s life, and Brenden was raised by his stepfather who played at Texas A&M.

Maybe not the perfect way to describe their relationship, but I am basing that on Brenden's words from this azcentral article quote:

"I don't get to talk to my father a lot," Brenden said.

Because he said Jerry Rice isn't in his life as much, Brenden said it "fuels my drive to be better than he ever was."

I'm sure their relationship is more complex than is captured in this specific article, but it certainly doesn't seem like Jerry has been a big fixture in his son's life.

Jerry Rice's son? I think we can make room for him...Seriously, who cares how many stars he is. The kid has the pedigree of the best WR to play the game. Would be thrilled to see him in the wing-ed headgear.

Jerry Rice, honorary captain.

And can we get Mr. Tom Brady to throw a few passes to him during warm-ups?

Seriously, what honest-to-God football fan would not want to see that?

Believe it or not, the Michigan football operations are large enough to handle recruiting players at two different positions at once. Hell, I'd say they could even simultaneously recruit three at a time.
