That comment was amazing.
"is right. I am married with children, but they are going to see some old school drinking tonight. Like I want a hangover, a bad one. I choose this path over cutting myself."
haha

"me too.... my six year old son kept asking me what language I was speaking as I grumbled in anger mumbling my fury! A punch to another players helment is an automatic ejection anywhere else!!!"
I grew up in a family where some spoke the Hessian dialect of German. It probably sounds a little like what he is describing. Hopefully, that would answer his kid's question.
Oh, and "helment"?

that guy forgot to wear his helment in high school and got knocked around and now can't spell. Show some respect!

Finally. It took a while this time.

I needed a distraction.

A punch to another players helment is an automatic ejection anywhere else!!!Someone should let Big Ten refs know.

If we let them know that, then they might forget to call pass interference....wait, they did that.

This column makes me laugh every week. Love it.

What's funny to me is that I read the comprehensive post rant thread and at the time I thought that everything was pretty reasonable. Reading through it today it was hilarious. Its funny how much half a week and being thankful I'm not a Penn State alumnus did for my perspective.

UNC definitely needs a new coach. When he's not preparing his team for a loss to their in-state rival, he's putting his foot in his mouth: "If you look at our graduation rates as opposed to our opponent's this week (N.C. State), graduation rates for athletics, football, you'll see a difference...."

My daugter (yes the Sparty one) is now in grad school at NC State. She texted me from the game that up on the jumbotron there was an ad saying "Graduating: it's a STATE kind of thing."
Now that's schadenfreude!

Sounds like a probable line from an old Enron shareholders meeting: "If you look at our Q3 2001 results as compared to other energy holding companies, you'll see a difference *points to bottommost line on chart*"
