tsio Withdrawal Anyone?

Submitted by winterblue75 on

Anyone else going through some tsio scandal news withdrawal? Or are people enjoying the break?

I'm sure there will be re-runs. In truth, I am anxious to get back to beating them on the field. I'm always happy when the season arrives, but I don't recall anticipating it this much for a long time.

...to catch up with what's already hit them. They're in shock, but eventually they'll have to take a peek at the piles of unopened magazines and sports pages they've been trying to ignore.

I was at a family reunion in Ohio this weekend and one of my relatives told me his son couldn't make it because he was in Columbus "at the Jim Tressel Football Camp."

My suggestion that he warn his son not to buy a ticket for the equipment raffle got a blank look.

All the OSU guys I work with are still in denial and think this is "no big deal" or something that would "turn up at any BCS school if the NCAA bothered to look"... so I'm still looking for something else big to come up with hard evidence that shuts them up.  Though they're such homers that nothing may ever convince them.

I search these every day:

Ohio State Football Scandal.

Ohio State Football Violations.

Ohio State Football Cheating.

Also, because George Dohrmann did say there was "more" when asked by Dan Patrick, I usually search this:

George Dohrmann Ohio State.

I am still waiting for the big one that brings the death penalty they so richly deserve into play.

More is coming.  There are multiple FOIA requests still outstanding.

I am personally expecting to see some new piece(s) of investigative journalism appear in the run-up to OSU's August NCAA hearing.
