While that was quite entertaining, it will never compensate for the pain of the original "Trouble with the snap" event. That said... Karma, bitches.

After the mirror event happening yesterday to those chumps, I think the streams are no longer crossed. We good.

I can't speak for anyone else, but it was cathartic for me.

That was just the universe correcting itself. Sparty has put its entire self worth and identity on a single play they had nothing to do with for the past 7 years, in a game they were outplayed, which they won because of a confluence of cosmic luck.

Leave it to little brother to change the narrative of the rivalry from their fluke wins to "tunnel gate"
Only such a trash program could be built on 1 game seasons and .000001% events like the punt 6 to remain relevant and spoken of every year, and yet they manage to blow that by having a bunch of thug players gang assault UM players in the tunnel.
They could have had their App State moment for years and years to come...
But trouble with the snap will now be replaced with the "Tuck stealin' contract, and most assuredly the "Tunnel Assault"
Lil bro identity always shines through, and this is what happens when a program is built on the indoctrination of hatred for one "rival"

Yes. This on the other hand, was icing on the cake of a thorough beat down. I feel like the Force has been brought back into balance now.

I feel like everyone gets this wrong about the Star Wars narrative. Anakin did bring balance to the Force, because the Jedi were running the show and thought they had eradicated the Sith. This caused all kinds of other problems, but generally speaking, I don't want "balance," -- I want the good guys to win all the time every time. Like Michigan vs. EMU every time.
Balance? Nah.

To be fair, if Sparty wasn't able to brag about wins where they are throughly outplayed based on dumb luck, they'd have nothing to brag about in the first place.

Monumental win.
Our mothers are better than your mothers.
Go Blue.

I will say this - I now feel quite a bit better about the unfortunate "Trouble With The Snap" now that there has been a very fortunate "Trouble With The Snap".

Where did all the Spartans go??!!
October 30th, 2022 at 12:31 PM ^
Unrelated but didn't want to create another thread on the subject but interesting to see the 2 coaches at the end of the game. Harbaugh was focused on getting his players away from MSU because they were acting like childish idiots.
Overpaid Tuck seemed more interested in getting off the field as fast as possible, was disinterested in the safety of the players.

In that video you see Michigan's #1 and #22 at the 27:02 mark. They are clearly not instigating anything. Little did they know they would be attacked in the tunnel minutes later.

Karma. Would love to see that in their stadium next year.
October 30th, 2022 at 1:16 PM ^
I feel this is karma for the punt they barely got off earlier in the game.
Karma for that…..thing that happened in 2015 should be a hell of a lot bigger. Like a decade worth of pain on their part.

Sean McDonough's call on the MSU punter sack was so unbelievably awesome. I laughed as that unfolded.
October 30th, 2022 at 12:39 PM ^
I cackled with glee. Karma is a motherfucker.
October 30th, 2022 at 3:53 PM ^
Sean knew exactly what he was doing.

1. yakity sax would have been more appropriate.
2. that punter might have been the best athlete on the field for the spartans last night.
October 30th, 2022 at 12:58 PM ^
Actually I thought I heard how great he was yet he shanked two punts from what I recall?
he did save the other botched snap though
October 30th, 2022 at 2:09 PM ^
Yeah, am I missing something? How does Ghostbusters fit in here?
October 30th, 2022 at 3:57 PM ^
Exercising the demons of the past.
October 30th, 2022 at 1:25 PM ^
Well the good thing about Staee's assault in the tunnel, next year the broadcast should move past the original trouble with the snap.
October 30th, 2022 at 3:27 PM ^
Karma's a );?$&
October 30th, 2022 at 3:54 PM ^
It might be one of the most glorious things ever.

Hats off to the announcer for using exactly "he has trouble with the snap!" -- same words used years ago in the one that went against us.
