Trey Burke thinks Caris is coming back to school

Submitted by Bluefishdoc on

Trey Burke was sitting in front of me on a flight from Las Vegas to Detroit today (I know cool story bro). I asked him if he knew what Caris was going to do and he thinks he is coming back to school. He couldn't have been any nicer.

You just want us to know you fly first class. To that I say - wherever you go, go there in first class; so there you are, but in the best possible way.

I hope he is right too. UMHoops threw this out there - LINK

If this is right, he's pretty close to graduating anyway:

LeVert said he’s factoring his health and his education — he’s “a couple more semesters” away from graduating. And, he admitted being part of the program next winter could be special.

With everyone back, I would think next season would be very interesting.

Obviously anything can happen in the tourney, so hard to predict, but I agree next year's team should be awesome, and incredibly deep.

Basically adding LeVert, Walton, Robinson, Wilson, and Wagner (maybe Williams or Brown as well) to the team we saw at the end of the year is crazy.  Plus all the beneits from experience, age, development, etc.

There are a ton of lineup permutations and this certainly won't be the regular lineup, but I would love to see Caris, Dawkins, Irvin, and Robinson on the floor at the same time with a big.  That length (Did someone say zone defense?) and shooting ability would be a sight to see.

Come back, Caris!

but I don't know if that means much.  He could go to bed thinking one thing and wake up the next morning and change his mind.  It has happened before.
