I like it. One can use it as a verb or a noun, a pejorative perhaps.
I just got got Tresseled at a used car lot.
I think you've found a dual meaning. Did you get the hookup at the used car lot with a deal that no one else gets, or were you dishonestly sold a a nice looking car that hasn't been running properly in 10 years?
That I was dishonestly sold a nice looking vehicle that hasn't run properly in 10 years... Much like the OSU football program.
Niiiice.
the vested one is back on his feet with a new job..
"Tresseled" would refer to the object of the verb...the one who GOT Tresseled. The poster who was Tresseled at the car lot has it right.
Great concept though...makes me think of "Munsoned" from Kingpin.
But is it worse than getting Munsoned?
I don't think Tressel mislead or was dishonest to his employer.
Here's another example:
<br>"Why don't you go play a game of hide and go tressel yourself"?
I think he (or she) is referring to the fact that he wasn't misleading OSU because they approved of his actions all along.
Here's another example:
<br>"I might have just tresseled that last comment up".
correct.
"I Schrute'd it," is now, "I Tressell'd it."
"I almost tress'd my pants after that last comment."
How about this?
Tressel (v): To tell another party that one will take care of an issue right away, then ignore said issue.
I think this would work for parents: "Don't you Tressel me young man! I said pick up your room and I mean right now."
Someone just tresseled on the rim of the seat and didn't wipe....
Tresseled (verb): 1. Losing 9 of 10 to your arch rival. 2. Being slowly bludgeoned to death by 3 runs and a punt despite only trailing by 11 pts all second half (ex. 2007 OSU/UM game)
/I'm so sorry, I kid because it's all I have left.
I wonder if they'll have to remove some trees from the Blackeye Grove when players are ruled ineligible.
Pshhh, like Pryor would ever be an All-American.
Tresseled: still bragging about the bullshit games your team won even though it's publicly accepted that they were cheating. Also, see: unwilling to admit you've spent your life pulling for the most corrupt thing to ever happen to college football
<br>
<br>I'm sorry. I kid because you don't know when to stop kidding
1. We would've murdered you guys without the tat5 last year anyway, and seeing as how last season's Michigan game is the only proven UM game that players should have been ineligible for, it really doesn't even matter. I agree with you that Jim Tressel is a total liar and a fraud, but it's only been shown that he protected 2010, so I guess that means he's 8-1 lifetime, with a vacation. 2. Your college football history knowledge must be really lacking if you think this was the most corrupt thing of all time. Hell, the fab5 was more corrupt, that was pay-for-play, this was players selling their own rings for tattoos and the coach lying about it to protect his players from trouble and his season from evaporating. Was it cheating? Yeah. Is it worse than SMU or everyone else that paid players, fixed games, etc. etc.? Hell no.
is just the tip of a vulgar iceberg. Enjoy the ride.
I agree with you that Jim Tressel is a total liar and a fraud, but it's only been shown that he protected 2010, so I guess that means he's 8-1 lifetimebjr maintains the faith. He's holding on by his fingernails, but he maintains the faith. Interesting.
No anger, bro. Just street justice.
<br>
<br>Tressling: telling someone that Ohio state isn't the most corrupt team in college football and bringing up another school's basketball team to prove it.
<br>
<br>
tresseled in the head. Seriously, I kid, but not by much.
<br>By all means hold on to the last decade. Cherish it. Embrace it. Because it's over now. By the time the NCAA gets done with Ohio State, your buckeyes won't be worth a tressel.
Meaning full of bull's shit and no regard to any rules. Most people caught with this reside in the state of Ohio....
<br>
boring. I think I'll go take a Tressel.
Tressled; when you've spent so much time lying and arguing to defend yourself that you just realized there's no time left to lube up for the long dick of the law
<br>See: Jim Tressel, Richard Nixon, Gene Smith
Tresseled - To be dominated by an athletic rival.
<br>Example: Will Michigan be Tresseled by Sparty four years in a row?
<br>
Depends on the result of this years game + how many NCAA violations sparty has broken.
Not a real tressling unless you did it like Jim did.
