I believe it when i see it. When the season starts in 6 months, thats plenty of time to heal. And at a position like linebacker, you can put a cast on it and play. He won't get any INT's but he can still tackle and run...

About the only "hand injury" that would knock a LB out for the year would be an amputation and even then they'd probably play through it.

Don't feel bad.  This is probably the first place they'll look to see if they got anyone.  So just look at it as you boosting team morale.  They need it after having Hopkins be the first player in history to have bad weight when spring practice starts.

I swear, SWEAR I am not lying.  NOT an April Fool's joke. 

I was just walking home less than an hour ago and Demens walked right in front of me to cross the street to Ricks.  His hand was in a cast.  Literally too weird.  Didn't want to post anything before it got confirmation.  I guess this is it.

EDIT: Guess it was an April Fool's Joke.  Thank God.

Just watching the scrimmage video from March 31 and Demens definitely has a cast on his wrist. He's also definitely playing. I'm guessing it's an April Fools joke, but he has enough evidence (the cast) to scare people.

The cast can clearly be seen around the :21 or :22 second mark of this video:

As thought, Kenny has just confirmed on twitter this is an April Fools joke.... He is in fact in a cast but he will be out of it in a few weeks. I would coy and paste the tweet but my iPad won't let me.

Demens by all accounts is having his best spring yet. Bolden is also impressive and will play. Poole can fly and hit. He just needs to work on technique and fundamentals. LB will be a strong unit this year for sure.
