Time for a Ben Herbert raise.

A lot of people want to give Biff Poggi much of the credit for the transition of this football team under Harbaugh. There is no bigger presence on this coaching staff and the change of direction of the program than Ben Hebert. Jim's teams at Stanford were known for their bruising line play. Creating players that can play that way doesn't happen by accident. Herbert is literally creating monsters not just in the trenches but everywhere on the field. He's making our guys bigger, faster, and quicker. Just looked it up and the highest paid strength and conditioning coach is the coach at Oklahoma State who makes almost 300k more than Herbert. If there's one coach that we need to keep on this staff for as long as possible, especially with the way Harbaugh likes to play it's Herbert. Also love to see him on the sidelines pumping these guys up!

Yup.  We should be at very high end for assistants.  We are going to lose some to better opportunities as coordinators and head coaches.  We should not lose anyone for money reasons.

Harbaugh wanted to nominate him for the Broyles award but they said it had to be a position coach. Clearly he highly values Herbert's work.

Pay the coaches. All of them and give them whatever they want

Santa, this directly involves the health and well-being of students. Get on it.

Watching the short video of the players exiting the tunnel, Keegan had to walk out alone, trhere wasn't enough room in the tunnel for anyone else. Also noted that players were skipping in the tunnel. We know what that does to people.
