Should be an interesting matchup seeing the Miss. St. run offense go up against the LSU D.

It is humors to me how inaccurate spotting the ball can be.  There is no way that the official knows that the ball went out exactly on the 40 yard line on that punt.  Same thing when a player is tackled in a huge mass of players.  Yet after the play the official will throw the ball accross the field to be placed at midfield, then have the chains run all the way accross the field to measure for a first down.  There has to be a more accurate way to determine spotting the ball.

I think the main thing thats lead to the SEC's success is the defensive line. It's very tough for teams to move when the two deep on the d line for LSU and company is better than most schools starters.

Seriously, how the hell does LSU find all these defensive linemen? They are consistently taller, thicker, fitter and more agile than just about every other program in the country. Arms and legs like tree trunks.

Are people in Louisiana just bigger and stronger than elsewhere? Are they running a steroid farm down there?

Theres a 5A School in Louisiana, West Monroe, their d line a few seasons ago averaged around 315 lbs. But all around high school football in Louisiana is amazing and they have that state locked down. Heres some Louisiana football players: Ed Reid Reggie Wayne James Hall Peyton Manning Marshall Faulk Alan Faneca Tracy Porter just to name a few
