Thursday Night Football, and Henne's new helmet

Anyone notice Henne's new Revo Speed helmet? I always thought the old Revolution helmet he always wore made him look angry with his brow furrowed all the time. Sorry, pretty OT.

Is it the helmet with the random "dent" on the back? Michael Williams wears one...and so does Mouton. I hate those things. I don't have NFL Network so I can't check.

Yeah, it's the new one with the dent in the back. I don't care for the dent, but I think the overall aggressive profile of the helmet looks pretty cool. And yes, Mike Williams has ruined the helmet for me.

One of my high school football coaches said the reason they came out with the new revolutions is because players in the ghetto didn't like the "Peyton Manning" look.

Heard Sam or Ira interview Jim Mandich on wtka this am, Mandich is involved with Dolphins from a media point of view. Think he said he, Henne and Long were all flying up together on Friday for the game. (may have station wrong and maybe even interviewee wrong, but it was a member of sixty nine team coming up for reunion, with Long/Henne in tow). Go Blue!

I am not too crazy about those new helmets. To me, the best looking style of helmet is like what Charles Woodson wore. All of these new helmets have weird facemasks.

henne has managed the first half well - - he has very good NFL sense, much like brady - - he won't force on a third-and-long, and he's read very well the defensive schemes put out by carolina...
