Thursday NCAAFB Open Thread: #4 Ole Miss @ SoCar

Submitted by formerlyanonymous on
Looks like the lines are Ole Miss -4 or -4.5. Only a 7 point favorite on a neutral site seems a bit strange (I'd expected higher). I haven't seen enough of the Rebels to know just how good they might be, so maybe not. Open thread for general discussion, click-clack, giggity!

A carolina win here and penn st win sat. means they'll be #3 or #4 next week. This just helps michigan get a shut to upset a great time at home Oct. 24th. Go carolina!

I was never high on Ole Miss, but this is just depressing. This is the same USC (NTUSC) that was lit up by Georgia a few weeks ago. To only have 3 points entering the 4th quarter is insane.

Did one of the announcers tell a story about how his roommate in college played intramural football and was a "baller"? Yes, yes, he did. Can I get that minute of my life back? Sadly, no, I cannot.

Five 3 and outs in a row, horrible play-calling, terrible execution, SC deserves to lose and Spurrier should be fired. Credit Ole Miss' d-line, but SC's o-line is playing awful, and Spurrier isn't putting the offense in position to succeed.

That school, the team and the fans are a disgrace. They wave confederate flags around since its their heritage or whatever. I'm glad they lost. Also proves once again the SEC is over rated.
