Threet post game interview criticism.

I hate picking on him about this, but he needs some coaching on his interview skills. Stop licking your lips obsessively. Every sentence does not need to start with a really loud "UMMMM". Me and the Mrs. were cracking up (mostly due to the alcholol buzz) the more we watched.

You hate to bang on him about it? Then why the hell did you start a thread doing exactly that? Was it because of your "alcholol buzz"? Is that some play on being drunk and saying "LOL"? You attributed his poor interview to his adrenaline high and he "normally composes himself better" but you needed to be a fucking attention whore and make yourself look cool at his expense anyway? REALLY??
I'm having a hard time with this, so let me try to get this straight. You just decided to make a thread about a kid who goes to class, goes to practice, and has to play in front of 110,000 people and a million+ alumni for the first time- yet fails to perform like Will Smith in front of the camera afterwards- so you feel the need to bash him? So you can LOL?
Here's a little advice for you, jackass- go chug some fucking Drano. Then- when you're done and shortly before you keel over from the poison you've ingested, you should regurgitate it, suck it into a vaccuum and reverse engineer that shit to give you a Drano enema. That way when the firefighters or paramedics come to pick up your worthless corpse, perhaps the Drano will save them from all the other shit you just blew out of your ass.
Seriously, it's people like you who make me think genocide is a viable option, and the reason the WLA exists. You should be ashamed.

Man, talk about an attention whore.... Get over yourself. This type of response from you should result in a ban. Personal attacks and profanity have no place here, if it does, then that is a shame. Don't be such a dick. What is wrong with saying he needs to work on his interview skills? I think you are reading way too much into it. I did not "attack" him in any way.

You're right about the personal attack and the profanity, I let the frustration of the weekend take over and for that I apologize- too many people complaining about too much dumb crap. So once again, I'm sorry, but posts like this make me see red.

I think Threet gives some of the most honest and thoughtful answers of any UM QB in recent history. He seems like a very intelligent guy.
On a side note, did anyone see the pre-game interview with Malcolm Jenkins when he was asked about the rumors of him leaving early for the draft last year? His response: "that was all just hypological by the media."

this isn't the first thread people have blown a lid over someone posting something less than intelligent/blatant self promotion/questions on the status of antonio bass. not responding or just posting a simple "no" would probably work a lot better than calling someone out or telling them to go kill themselves (state fans excluded).
Calling for people to be banned is stupid unless they are a troll or are so outrageous in their slandering of other people it may warrant censoring.

I'll admit my post may be a little bit of bad timing due to all the other sky is falling posts. I could have constructed the post it a little better. I wasn't insulting the kid personally, never did, never will.
This post is in no way to get attention for myself. I could care less, I am not an ego hound. I have been listening to many post game interviews for many years. Yes, I understand underclassmen typically are more nevous,ect. He had done so well over the past, spring game ect. that it was suprising. I will admit, I was amused by the quirks. Some people think a pie in the face is funny, others don't (bad analogy of the year candidate here I bet). The tone was not meant to be "OMG what an idiot!!". I just was pointing out he needed a little work. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Jumping on people for their opinions and name calling is more bush league. Lets all just take a breath here. No hard feelings fellas? Lets cheer those kids on and give them all the support they need.

Soapbox:I do feel that that type of post should strongly be discouraged. It doesn't belong here. A post like that should give someone a "timeout".Banning for disagreements is weak sauce and I wasn't saying it because of that. Personal attacks and venom like that yes. I doubt anyone would have tolerated that from me. That being said, I accept your appology, please accept mine. I am good here, hopefully we can drop the whole thing.
