There Are....

There are....very slim pickings for the #10 on this year's roster.  The two we have, Freshman Cristian Dixon (WR) and Junior Anthony Solomon (LB), have good recruiting profiles but this year have only seen spot duty with a single catch and some special teams play, respectively.  Nevertheless, they wear the maize and blue and are part of the most exciting team and season since 1997.   Here are their roster pictures, Cristian first, then Anthony:

Between the holidays on our doorstep and a certain football game in 10 days, work productivity has dropped off substantially.  Kids coming home and preparations to make, it is that time of year.  No matter what happens though it is also a time to savor the goings-on and step back from the hurly-burly of life and enjoy those people in our orbit and reflect on what has already been a tremendous football season.  I like our chances vs. Georgia, but in the meantime, wade into your family and friends.  Times like these don't last so squeeze all the juice out of them you can.

Oh, and just in case you want to put some 'zing' into the number 10 I was able to stumble across a certain number ten that you might recognize.  Did okay at Michigan, middling NFL career afterwards....

Never forget Tom Brady's career began and nearly ended at ...

Have a great day folks.  There are (only) 10 DAYS UNTIL THE CFP PLAYOFF GAME!!

Feel kinda bad for Solomon. Came in and got immediate playing time as a freshman. Was primed to be the next man up at Viper. Lost a close battle to Barrett in 2020 then we change defenses and there is no Viper position anymore. Wouldn’t be surprised if he transfers out to get more PT after we win the national championship.

This is going to be great!  New Years Eve used to be fun years ago when we were at home with the kids.  The TV specials had somewhat good music and entertainers.  Now it's just bad lip-synching to crappy music.

Our team has the night game so I get to watch something exciting on New Years Eve!  Beat the Dawgs - Go Blue!!
