There IS...
...days until David Terrell (WR 1998-2000) sees Michigan finally begin their 2020 season TOMORROW!

Happy Football Eve everyone. Let's keep that Jug tomorrow. GO BLUE!

The player on the top of the annual "There IS..." post may change, but the video will ALWAYS remain the same...
Thanks Dr. Sap. Enjoy every last glorious second of this timeless masterpiece.

Aside from the victory itself, the best part of that clip for me is watching the normally in-control Bo Schembechler jumping up and down like a 10-year old at Christmas who just got everything he wanted.

Your there is picture looks a lot like Braylon Edwards not David Terrell. Two great Meeeechigan receivers in their own way. For me the greatest #1 is Anthony Carter. 3 time All-American and the most electrifying player ever to don the winged helmet.
GO BLUE ???
Beat dem Gophers!!!

So, while at work, videos posted to this blog show up as a dull grey box with a 1980's frowny face. Nonetheless, I know this clip to be Anthony Carter's last second catch from Johnny Wangler to beat Corso's Indiana in the 1979 Homecoming game.
Classic.

My other fave #1 is Nico Collins.

I don't think it counts if he doesn't wear it in an actual game

Yes agreed, doesn't count

The first try at the 2020 shirt was quite happenstance and uninspired, which fit the mood of that schedule launch announcement at the time...
Little did we know what was to come.

One day until the good guys pay off my years of disliking PJ Fleck for absolutely no reason!

And...this year's The Story: "My Body is Stupid"
https://mgoblog.com/content/story-2020-my-body-stupid
Brian uses Scott Pilgrim vs. The World to talk about the chaotic beauty of College Football and how it approaches us in the slightly less beautiful chaos of 2020.
Crank it:

Hard to believe.
It was gone. And now it's back. Is that... good?
No expectations, really. Some wins. A couple of losses.
And yet... a new QB. Athletes outside. More experience in the system. The promise of the new.
Hope.
Football is coming.

Doesn't seem real yet... Saturday will change all that.

I'm nervous, the skill positions are young but we do have a good group of RB. I think MN goal will be to stop the run, so Joe's going to have to throw the ball. I hope he's accurate and does not throw pick six's.

It's like Christmas in a way, except that this season it is happening around Easter on the liturgical calendar.
