The title says it all. Adam Coon, who was a 3x All-American heavyweight wrestler at Michigan from 2013-18, has been signed to the Titans roster and will compete for a spot as an offensive lineman. He was an All-State lineman and linebacker in high school but did not play football at UM.

I think it's cool to see this. We've seen players like Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham succeed in the NFL with little or no CFB experience, and he's certainly got the prototypical body type for the role. Good luck Adam!

The greatest indictment of Harbaugh is how many guys have enrolled at Michigan only to go on to NFL success—without ever taking the field in maize and blue in-between

EDIT: This is obviously a joke and I’m dying at how many of you thought I was serious

Carlton Haselrig was a six (!!!) time NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion at  the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown and was drafted by the Steelers in the 12th round of the 1989 NFL draft despite not having played football in college.

He made the Pro Bowl as the Steelers' starting right guard in 1992.

Not only would it be cool to make it as a pro lineman, he also graduated with a degree in aerospace engineering. Let’s have an all Michigan mission to Mars. Adam, Noah Furbush, and Meghan Beaubien (softballer as your payload engineer).

Guys! How insufferable are we all gonna be if this guy makes a pro bowl and never suited up at Michigan? These boards will show us how much further we can devolve into BPONE with more Maizens and Section Ones than ever.

At 6'5 and 300 he certainly has the size, but I can't imagine he's got the skills to block at the NFL after not playing for so many years, right?
