Televised Team Scrimmages?

This is just a pipe dream, but....

Harbaugh has been very vocal that Michigan has been folowing protocol and has kept the Michigan football players safe since June 13th.  If (A big IF) they could remain safe going forward, an alternative to a fall season could be for captains to have a team draft, and split into two teams.  These  teams could practice together, and have several televised scrimmages during the fall season.  This gives players a chance to have games, and gets more people involved.  This also means Dylan McCaffery and Joe Milton both get a chance to show what they can do.  Those who would redshirt could play without burning their eligibility because they are not official games.

If several other schools did this, we could have 2 or 3 games each Saturday on a rotating schedule.

Just a pipe dream, as players will be interacting with the student body, but it could be better than nothing.

Big Ten says that all organized volunteer workouts and practices can continue. So, i guess, they could possibly set up a scrimmage, but I doubt it.

LOLOL, yeah, cause that'll being the viewers in, maybe they can line it up at the 8PM slot when the SEC marquee game of the week is on (assumming the SEC plays).
