What would be a definition of Sanders failing at CU? I'm not a fan of his but CU went 1-11 last year and they were awful. All but one of their losses was by 20 or more points. USC and UCLA are leaving in a year. I'd be pretty surprised if CU isn't having winning seasons in a couple of years. Now whether he can get them to where they are winning 10+ games a season will be interesting.

I find it very weird that people want him to fail so bad! The guy is a breath of fresh air from the “good ol’ boys club”. I hope he kills it. I think you’re really afraid, that’s why you pray on his downfall

What makes you so sure he will flame out? He seems like a winner to me and their roster is about as young as it gets. With his hype and how he plays ball, I am curious how he won't be able to show improvement to Colorado football.

With great hyp comes great expectations not simply improvements. He’s acting like he’s going to be running a top 10 program. From the rumblings CU doesn’t even have the $ to pay his contract let alone the BIl promises being made (speculation but we’ll reported). That said should be interesting. Personally I get annoyed with the “hype” and would prefer if programs were evaluated on merit but I could be getting old.

I understand that. It could also be said that hype is part of what Harbaugh brought to Michigan. That buzz can attract players, coaches, and other talent. He needs to deliver and I think being brash and putting his face out there is part of how he can win.

Good luck to him. Sanders is either going to do really well at Colorado out of the gate or he's going to suffer his first real run of struggle as a coach and not handle it well. Feels like he's trying to get rich quick with the transfer portal so we'll see.

He will find out very quickly he had it better at Michigan. Hype train vs. real culture. I wish the young man well because he will need it.
