Not For Long - such a brutal league. I hope ? lands somewhere in no time.
I didn't watch their games last year, but was sure to catch the box scores. He was productive, at least statistically. Wonder why they let him go.
He was really bad last year
Why do you say that?
How often do you see a NFL franchise straight-up release a healthy former first round pick with 2 years remaining on his rookie contract?
The Cowboys tried to trade Taco before releasing him for nothing, and there were no takers.
5 sacks seemed good. Read on reddit that most of his sacks were coverage sacks and he was a healthy scratch the last 4 games.
He led the team in sacks even sitting the final 4 games.
Pick him up, Quinn!
That wouldn't be a bad move at all, certainly wouldn't hurt.
Lions could use pass rushing depth, Julian Okwara is a good prospect but injury history is dicey.
Picking up Taco at a minimum contract to be the backup seems like good value.
Man, I miss Taco.
Lions?!!
what the hell is this and why do i keep watching
Flipper has a thing for oral sex apparently.
Flipper? I hardly know ‘er!
Pain, ecstasy or both?
Patriots, you're up!
That would mean he's taking snaps from Winovich & Uche.
If they stick to a 3-4 not really. Uche and Winovich are OLBs in that and Taco would be more of a DE.
He’s more of an edge guy than a 5 tech. Pats are usually in sub packages anyway 2 down 4 ‘backers, 5 DB. They did use John Simon as a DE last year though in base sets and he’s like 260. So I’d say taco would be an upgrade over Simon. Also I think this is the year the pats don’t win the AFC East unless Buffalo really screws up.
Vikings could use him if they don’t resign Everson Griffin.
I guess he will get one more shot
If I am honest, I was surprised at how high Taco was drafted
Taco got cut over former 1st round pick Charles Harris. In just 1 season with the Dolphins Taco had 5 sacks while Harris in his 3 year career has 3.5 sacks. Great job Dolphins!
Flour tortillas should be illegal.
Yes!
I logged in just to echo this sentiment.
Fresh, soft corn tortillas are the only way to go.
If you live in Metro Detroit, I highly recommend Tienda Mexicana in Madison Heights...on John R...between 13 and 14 Mile Roads...on the east side of the street. You'll thank me for this tip!
Don't let your Maize leanings muddle your Mexican food. Flour tortillas are the only way to go

It's been many years since I've been down to Mexican Village in Detroit ... is it any good anymore?
He'll catch on somewhere; the Dolphins always seemed like a temporary stop for him and I could see him being a backup end on a good defense.
"During that time, club sources complained Charlton’s attitude was not what the Dolphins had hoped."

Similar comments were made when Dallas got rid of him.
Soft tacos do not last as long in the heat as hard ones.
That's what she said.
Guessing he got passed up by Burrito.
Reading through these comments... it's like his 5 sacks are the only thing that matters.
Although I have never read it explicitly it would seem that he must have some personal issues and baggage that coaches are not willing to deal with. A team doesn't just sit their sack leader for the last four games of the year and then cut him whilst still on a rookie deal.
He might be done in the league.
So this confirms it, soft tacos suck?buta dum.....ok so I'm no milton bearl.
Even though it he was a late 1st rounder still doesn't take away the fact from a Dallas viewpoint it was a bad pick. Considering theres potentially multiple all-pro's even in the 5th round.
Getting cut aside, 1st rounders get 50% guaranteed. So at the very least he's ahead 8 games in salary after collecting the better part of 2 years, ballpark? And got a great start financially right out of college most do not get. So a team may get a deal if he could make the roster.
