A suitable Protest idea next time Michigan plays at home
Here’s an idea for a subtle protest when we play Ohio State at home.
Before the game we should display the overall season record of every Big Ten team over the past five years and post a rhetorical question, “Reading the signs?”
These clowns are what their record says they are and any attempts to deflect it are just more excuses.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:04 PM ^
Umm. Their record is pretty good.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:06 PM ^
Not Ohio State’s record, every other team in the conference since they all ganged up on us.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:05 PM ^
Biff put it pretty well - stop whining and get a better team.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:24 PM ^
They should have Ryan Day and Tony Peetitty wrestle a grizzly bear before the game to promote the Flint Tropics.

As long as Jackie Moon sings ‘Love Me Sexy’, I’m game.

Don't forget about Eurovision's "Jaja Ding Dong". Will Ferrell is one of the all time greats

Hey Tony, I wish you were still a washing machine!
November 10th, 2023 at 9:05 PM ^
We should throw the B1G commissioner into a cage with a starving crocodile.
That's the only fucking acceptable protest
November 10th, 2023 at 9:08 PM ^
Substitute wild wolverine for crocodile and you have a million dollar idea.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:12 PM ^
That’s a cage match worth seeing…

PPV
It’s gold, Jerry.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:29 PM ^
I'd accept it if he got a whole MS-13 style facial/neck tat of nothing but Michigan Football theme.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:06 PM ^
I’d prefer clips of the ref’s blown calls and encouraging butt slaps from the 2016 game
November 10th, 2023 at 9:10 PM ^
That game is going to look "fair' after the officiating in this year's game.
B1G officials are going to do everything they can to help OSU, not to mention PSU.
And the media will run the headlines: distractions too much for Michigan.
Just have to hope these kids can overcome the B1G.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:14 PM ^
I said this a couple weeks ago and got negged , but I believe 100% refs are gonna fuck us the rest of the year.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:30 PM ^
Fine. Show the corruption. Win big and it doesn’t matter.
These young men are ready.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:52 PM ^
And even though that didn't happen in either of the two games that were played after the story broke, you're still convinced?
Man, why is it so hard to believe that most referees are professionals who, yes, sometimes make mistakes (both ways), but actually take pride in doing their job well? It's easier to believe that an entire refereeing crew would decide to put their careers at risk by screwing over a team on a nationally televised game with every play scrutinized?
Damn, we're some paranoid people, these days.

A referee job is a non-secure, transient job that is done at pleasure of the Big Ten conference. As a ref, you have to make many 50/50 calls per game. If you are a ref in a Michigan game, it is very clear where your employer wants you to come down on these calls.
No, the refs are not going to just make up bad calls out of the blue.
But in those 50/50 calls that could go either way (and there are a LOT of these in a game), there is a not so subtle incentive to have them go one way, and no benefit to have them go the other way.
You are not going to risk the ire of your employer by making a 50/50 call that you have to defend.

Agree to disagree, I guess. Until one referee reveals that the Big Ten has given him specific instructions to tilt a game one way or another, once, I'm going to assume they're doing the best they can. Not one Big Ten referee has ever written a book, or gone on a sports radio show, or spoken to the Athletic or Sports Illustrated, ever, to reveal that he was pressured to favor one team or another.
(Not to mention, I just don't believe that "the Big Ten" (who is that mysterious cabal of people, anyway?) has a vendetta against Michigan. I know that seems to be accepted as fact around here, but I've talked with fans at other schools who swear their conferences hate them, just as much, so I take that all with a grain of salt).

Beat Penn State
Beat Maryland
Beat the shit out of Ohio State
Win the B1G Championship game, celebrate with fans, ignore the trophy presentation stage, and leave Tony Petitti standing there by himself looking like an ass.

Accept the trophy, announce Michigan leaving the big10.

November 10th, 2023 at 9:14 PM ^
How about a thorough search of everything OSU brings.. players, coaches, equipment, etc. Have dogs go through the buses, players, etc. - similar to Michigan’s game in Columbus in 2006.
November 10th, 2023 at 10:03 PM ^
How the fuck was that not a "sportsmanship" violation?
November 10th, 2023 at 9:07 PM ^
We should put a rather large macaroni noodle by the stadium.

Make Legolas a Mod with full Admin privileges.

Perfect since the Skoolmasters of Ohio can’t spell and will unwittingly keep going there expecting something else but instead will get a parody site of Eleven Warriors.

Copy the style from the existing elevenwarriors site. Then add bogus articles pro Harbaugh/Michigan. Post links on twitter and news sites. Have fun.

Let's start with beat Penn State. Nothing else should matter right now except it does because they've taken our coach.
I just hope Michigan comes out later focused like they have all year on the road.

Fans should hold up ACC signs and the players should remove/tape over the big logo on their jerseys.
November 10th, 2023 at 9:30 PM ^
I know he better not shake anyone’s hand tomorrow. Because he will be coaching. Straight to the locker room with maybe a loogie to the face if Frames tries to say hi. Ridiculous. You just altered the leveling playing field unfairly because the other coaches played you to do so. With no evidence or due process. This is such an easy legal case, I don’t think anything will ever actually get handed down on this (with effect). The B1G will realize how dangerous this is and pluck Tony straight out of his seat. Should be interesting but I’d expect a non-biased judge to be absolutely appalled by this.
