Stevie Brown
Given an overall defensive effort that was disappointing against an unusual offense, Stevie Brown was a bright spot for me and had a very good game today.
I was one of those who used to rip his performance last year, and really wanted to acknowledge his performance on "D" and special teams today.

Yes, S. Brown is one of the most active players on a defense that is desperately in need of them.

Is is nice to see him playing well after all the bad Saturdays he has had in the past. He looks to be playing with confidence, and that is a good thing.

is constantly hitting the wrong gaps and taking poor angles, he really hasnt made a difference in any game so far. Stevie Brown is looking like our best linebacker right now

He seems to have found his position, it's nice to see him utilize both his speed and power.

played exceptionally well today...Him and Warren were one of the few bright spots on an otherwise ugly defense.

I'm happy for the man. He has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism these last couple years...not that it wasnt often deserved. His best play has always been near the LOS.

is atrocious. I mean its not even D2 quality.
Any tackle Ezeh makes is purely because the ballcarrier ran into him. Woefully disappointed in the LB play.

Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but I was less impressed with Brown this week than in weeks past.

Credit where credit is due. Stevie was in on some big plays today, and he stepped it up when no one else would.
Also, considering how frustrated we've been with his play in the past, I think there's a lesson to be learned from this: players can and do improve.

said that their top 3 players on D go:
1. BG
2. Warren
3. Stevie Brown
i'm pretty sure Obi is the worst starter. much as it pains me to say.

is the worst starter. Obi is up there because of expectations. Also props to Van Bergen and Craig Roh on an impressive game. Can't wait to see Roh as a giant, speedy senior one day.......

Stevie Brown is our best LB.

Also, +1 to the OP.

3rd - 4th best defensive player (BG, DW, and either Brown or Mike Martin being 3rd)
