As a Jets fan, Gase deserved to get fired for winning those 2 games. They had the chance to draft THE QB for the next 10 years and they blew it like all Jets fans knew they would.

An announcer said something along the lines of "Organizations can attempt tank, but players want to win," during a telecast yesterday, and that explains it. Everyone hates to lose, so just because the front office thinks it will help in the long run, good luck getting 53 competitors to roll over and get their asses kicked every week.

I think the wait for the announcement of the extension is so the new coordinator(s?) can be announced at the same time. The wait is probably more about them than Harbaugh.

Doesn’t make sense. Head coach is official, then you lock him up regardless of other coaches. Those dominoes fall as they fall. This is 100% Harbaugh. Weighing out his options.
