According to UMHoops, Coach Howard met with Warde Manuel before practice but after Howard's media availability. That was when it was agreed that the suspension would be lifted. So it sounds like anyone who insisted he wasn't traveling couldn't have known either way because it hadn't yet been determined.

Basically, Simpson never talks to the media after losses and the rest of the team sits there and takes all of the questions and I inferred that this wasn't necessarily well received by the rest of the team. Kind of a can dish it but can't take it type thing.

Since everyone seems to be focused on the DUI being the case, I'm pretty sure it wasn't.
I'm a student here and there's been multiple people around him who have told me the same thing; given that they haven't been misled, it's something that's probably less serious than a DUI, but probably more embarrassing, in MY opinion.
I'm not trying to announce and hide what I heard as to feel on the "inside," I just don't want to potentially be the guy who leaks the info. Thought it was important as some seem to be assuming it to be a DUI.
