it came this week as opposed to next week.  I hope everyone learned their lessons.  Next week we will be tougher on defence, better shooting and Jordan Morgan not turn the ball over or miss anymore layups.  NCAA final 4 here we come.  Thanks you Wisconsin for letting us lose to you.

I feel a little better now. I thought this year was a repeat of last year when they ran out of gas and forgot how to hit shots and play defense.

The NCAA Tournament is going to be awesome now that they won't be making those mistakes anymore. Damn I can't wait till Thursday or Friday when they play.

mailing it in, and that is completely what Michigan did yesterday.  Stopping just short of actively and affirmatively trying to lose a game, Michigan considered the case for winning, and that case was playing Indiana one week after they broke your heart into peices and while playing your worst basketball of the year.  Not a very strong case.  Indiana would have decapitated Michigan today and I for one am actually somewhat grateful that the team stuck their finger down their throat.

The Big Ten season needed to end for Michigan.  Plain and simple.  Perhaps that is not the ending we had in mind, but I for one am happy to sit this weekend out before returning to the world of the NC States, Pittsburgs, and Kansas States.  I will gladly watch other teams beat themselves up this weekend.

And have a beer :)

I can't wait to see: the players make all their free throws, the players bring some rugged defensive intensity, and John Beilein out-coach everyone in the tournament.

Another great thing to come out of yesterday's second half shellacking is we now know the following, which should temper our expectations:

1. Beilein can't coach D

2. The players lack heart

3. No intensity on this team

4. Only thing Burke knows is hero ball

5. Morgan has the worst hands ever

6. The Bigs can't make a layup

7. Desire in a unknown commodity on this team

8. Stauskas' D is so bad, how bad is it? the boy never even makes it over half-court.

9. About 4 or 5 of these guys should never see the court again the way they embarrassed some of our fans expectations

10. Beilein has proved he will never get a team past the Elite Eight.

no criticism that can be directed toward Burke.  Burke has been the only reason this team won a game since early February.  If Hardaway could make a shot or Jordon Morgan could catch the basketball Burke would lead the nation in assists.  He cannot singlehandidly make the rest of the players good at basketball.  If nobody else is going to actually make a real effort the score the ball he can shoot it every time and I will admire him for doing it.

The team should have learned their lesson in the first OT loss to Wisconsin, the loss to Penn State, and the last minute loss to IU.

What the team needs is someone to fire them up like Bo did with the 1989 team.

I think some of you guys are missing the OP's joke here.....

Thank you Formally for what looks to be like the internet version of a "Kobe Assist".

This is hilarious. Although, mGrowOld, don't you get the assist and formerlyanonymous gets the score.

Formerlyanonymous, where have you been? You haven't posted much in the last year.

Return to Texas and real job limits my ability to keep up with non-revenue sports.  I only caught one set of volleyball on BTN this season. Stupid board posts (think what I posted, but from someone who is serious) also don't help.  I read the front page, but avoid the board for the most part.
