The Silent Commitment and other prospects after this afternoon's events
Well, just when I was settling in for a quiet holiday weekend and my firm gave us a half day, low and behold, two more commitments. Thrilled to see these two join the fold. I have questions though:
1) I assume considering Funchess & Williams are tight ends/offensive side guys, I suppose I am to believe that neither of these two are the post-Spring Game "Silent Commitment".
2) Does Hello Funchess & Williams mean Goodbye Southfield TE Ron Thompson?
Gotta love how they debate in Denard jerseys.
But does the team--and the coaches--understand the rivalry with MSU and OSU?

I hope AJ Williams stays at TE. I know he's 260, but I bet at least a little of that is bad weight. If he can work on his speed/quickness and get to an ideal size of 6'6" 270 while improving his athleticism, that is ultimate badass TE. He would be a 6th OL during running plays and an absolute truck on pass plays. If you're a DB and that guys running at you, what do you do?
