Unfortunately, my daughter ended up going there.  I do not like it.  Fortunately, none of these is her.  Look at them however you wish... just remember they have horrible fashion taste and you'll probably have to read them the menu at McDonalds on the date.

Did he tell this young man that he would never see the field or something, just to get rid of him so that he can add another 4-5 star talent or transfer? I mean, why the strong reaction from this kid? Usually, guys just leave quietly. It just seems like something else is going on. Maybe one day he'll talk about it and we'll know for certain rather than speculating.

With Urban oversigning every year, anytime a player leaves the program, there will always be a certain degree of relevancy, especially when they say things like the parting was "mutual" (see Harbaugh vs. San Francisco where they said it was "mutual", but Harbaugh stated otherwise). Indeed, it makes me believe otherwise.

I don't believe we even have an Ohio commit in this class yet, or if we are projected to even have one at all. I hope we can benefit from this pipeline however, given what has happened.

because he couldn't even crack the two deep.  There were rumblings from the time he came in that he never really fit in.

He's the one that said Urban and Ginn were still trying to get him to change his mind but F them.  So I think it is more of a situation of a kid upset he wasn't playing.

Continue on with your oversigning and Urban is scum regularly scheduled programming now.

I talked with a friend who is OSU friend and living there we were texting about this topic and he made comment "The decision for Jones to leave seemed likely after he did not report to summer workouts on Monday or Tuesday without notifying the coaches, according to sources close to the program, but that decision was not finalized or confirmed until today."

I believe I read somewhere they were a little thin on OL position anyway! I hope this helps their situation at a position of need. I don't follow their roster that close though.

Whatever the real story is (and it's probably he isn't getting enough playing time and the line is very young so he's not going to get enough playing time) the poster I replied to said this thins out depth at a thin position, and while that's true, it thins out a guy who is >13th on the depth chart, so it's not terribly damaging.
