Shout out to Jourdan Lewis

It was a losing effort but, Jourdan Lewis led the Cowboys in sacks, and led the Cowboys in tackles by everyone not named Linebacker.  This from a player the DB coach, Kris Richard, tried to convince the Cowboys staff wasn't big enough to play in his defensive backfield.  Lastly, as it was at Michigan, opposing teams are learning not to pick on Lewis.

While I'm glad Jordan Lewis is proving the naysayers wrong, his team certainly isn't.

DaLLLLLLas is about to blow their lead in the NFL's weakest division.  And although the cowboys are still in first at 6-6, the 5-6 Eagles finish against 4 teams who currently have 2-9 records and a home game vs dem LLLLLLboyz.

Hooray he can add a participation trophy to his cabinet.  Actually I bet he would tell you himself to gtfo with this after a loss.  He is a fucking professional now.

I actually have a pair of his cleats from when he was at UofM, and I’d love to have them autographed and personalized.  If anyone knows Jourdan.... hit me up on Twitter @hennegivensunda (the y made the name too long, damn it).

As is typical for the Lions, they had the opportunity to pick a UM player with a high draft choice but declined, in this case choosing to draft Teez Tabor when Lewis was available. Lewis is still making an impact with the Cowboys, while Tabor was cut by the Lions after just two years.

Very happy for him. Felt bad for him with that pre-draft crazy girlfriend stuff, which maybe knocked his draft stock down a bit. Then that one coach seeming to hold him back, as you mentioned.  He's fought through an extra layer of roadblocks, for someone as talented as he is.
